My wife, daughter and I stayed at the La Badia as part of a Riviera Tour and it was an integral part of a great holiday. The setting is wonderful and the views are stunning. The ambiance is one of pure relaxation with friendly and helpful staff. Food is staple Italian fare, well prepared and value for money. The rooms... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four nights on bed and breakfast basis, mid October 2016. Just perfect for us, very peaceful and relaxing. This is a family run hotel, the staff were great, very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Nice room overlooking the Naples bay. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation Nice... We stayed here for a week as part of a (brilliant) tour of the area with Riviera. The Italian matriarch owner is usually on hand, is very interested in customer feedback and is clearly very proud of her hotel. It is a former monastery with beautiful grounds, including olive trees with hammocks for guests. The views of the sea and... More

The hotel is pretty standard. There wasn't much of an atmosphere (maybe because we went in Early October). Hotel guests in the main part were OAPs. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was basic. Main issue we had was regarding a taxi service. We were told by reception that we could pre-book a taxi to Sorrento Train Station for 15Euros.... More

Good evening, We wish to thank you for your review. We are sorry that you didn’t find the right atmosphere for you; but there is something I would like to point out about the taxi service issue. The morning you left there was a very heavy traffic in Sorrento, so the company we normally work with (and also another company... More

We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights while visiting sites in the region. This is a family run hotel and the wonderful attitude and level of service reflect the family's pride in the place. The front desk is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large, clean, and bright with incredible scenes of the Bay from the window. There... More

Booked with Riviera Travel who provided a full and exciting itinerary hosted by our excellent tour manager, Sarah. The La Badia is a converted 'abbey' or monastery, located in a hillside olive grove overlooking Sorrento but distant enough not to hear the heavy Sorrento traffic. The grounds were very good, with meandering paths through olive trees slung with hammocks. Our... More

My wife and I, have just returned from Sorrento, where we had a fantastic time visiting the many attractions along the Amalfi coast. We chose the Hotel La Badia as our base and so glad we did. Although the Hotel is up on hill, looking over the bay of Naples we didn't find the walk into Sorrento too difficult, about... More

lovely hotel with amazing views, complete with a large, olive tree garden with hammocks & small groupings of tables & chairs to disappear into with a good book. Room 2 was comfy if a little narrow, but the view from the balcony was perfect. food was overall good with enough choice to suit most people. Breakfast had all the usual... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Riviera Travel Holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially the reception and head waiter. The Hotel is in an ideal location with spectacular views over the bay of Naples. The Town centre can be reached by a fifteen minute walk via a down hill foot path, but of course... More
