I stayed here for four days in May with my wife and son. Other than the location, there is nothing to recommend this hotel. This is a hotel that is well past its prime. The pool area is marked by peeling paint, broken chairs, and a general sense that it's time the place be put out to pasture. The rooms...

Very old installations. Air conditioning not working and we did not have our request attended even asking for fixing it 3 days consecutively. They charge for towels in the old swimming pool and have a nasty basket over each table in breakfast room asking for tips. Wouldn't come back ever.

Nice hotel in a central location. Pleasent rooms some with sea view. Breakfast and surroundings were very relaxed. Great position for walking to the port if you want to get a ferry to surrounding areas.

I stayed at the Carlton for one week in May. I was initially unsure about booking this hotel but we had a truly excellent stay & I would not hesitate to recommend the Carlton. The location & price cannot be beaten - just a few metres from Piazza Tasso and central to everywhere in Sorrento. Rooms were basic but spacious...

First time in sorrento and chose this hotel for location. Firstly cannot believe it is so far in ratings. Location is perfect literary one minute from square and shopping centre, restaurants and five from the harbour (when using the lift). Staff are lovely and ready to help, breakfast excellent and a lovely pool area. Only 10 minutes from train and...

Not a 4 star hotel. Small bathroom, double bed was two singles pushed together. Breakfast was the worst I have eaten in any hotel. Pool - take your own towels as they charge a euro each when you use their pool towels. Pros: sea view room from 3rd floor could see the sun set over the sea every evening with...

The Hotel is ideally situated being located just off the main Square in Sorrento. An ideal base from which to discover Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and adequate. This is not however a 4* Hotel, there is no room service nor any tea making facilities in the rooms (and as...

Very convenient location, helpful friendly staff (many of them didn't speak english well). nice room, TINY bathroom - shower stall is so small, you can barely move! Breakfast was nice, European style. It was nice to be able to relax by the pool in the afternoons and just short walk to the city center, ferries and stunning overlooks.
