We've stayed here a few times and enjoyed it each time. Great location with a shuttle bus into Sorrento Town. Food is quite basic - we only ever stay b&b as we weren't keen on the one dinner we had (restaurant lacked choice and atmosphere and sorrento town has soooo much choice). The views are amazing! Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool is large enough even for a busy summer period, without feeling too crowded. Maybe only improvement I'd suggest to the hotel is for a larger gym (to burn off some of that pasta/pizza!). Would recommend as a great base for exploring sorrento, naples, amalfi or capri.

Stunning views here, the room was nice enough, the furniture was a bit dated as is some of the areas in the hotel but it was perfectly adequate. There was lots of storage & coat hangers in the room. Netflix on the tv was fab on the days we wanted to relax after being out all day sightseeing. We would buy a bottle of wine from the supermarket and chill out in the room. The walls seemed to be paper thin, I could hear next doors tv as clear as day and then someone snoring from the other side. Some nights were horrendous, I would definitely recommend to take earplugs. We were at the back of the hotel so it was very quiet and sunny late afternoon the front sea view rooms overlook the main road and have morning sun and although the views are beautiful the noise from the road we were told could also be a annoying for some. Just missed a kettle in the room for my morning cuppa . Breakfast was just ok not the best in our opinion, the evening meal we enjoyed the set menu, plenty to choose from, although some strange combinations it was tasty and the waiter service was a really nice change from other hotels we’ve stayed in. Evening entertainment is low key but nice and chilled. Brixton the waiter was a very funny guy and deserves a special mention he always had a smile and was very polite . The pool area was great to relax and the option to swap your evening meal for lunch was good, which we did on a few occasions when we had a pool day. The free shuttle bus was great and sorrento on a weekend was buzzing , we definitely noticed it a lot quieter on weekdays in October. Would definitely return here, for the price we paid it was really good value. As some other hotels in Sorrento were so expensive. If you’re wanting a base to explore capri and the Amalfi coast it’s perfect here.

Lovely hotel and staff. The room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking some trees in the garden area behind the hotel. From the outside seating area at the bar and the view from the garden/pool area was amazing and on the clear days there is a beautiful view. There were musicians playing in the bar that were really talented and both the inside bar and seating outside in the evening had great service and was a nice way to end the day. The pool was a great size but we only braved it once as it was quite cold in October despite the warm weather. There were plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available. The free shuttle bus (coach) was really helpful and we were grateful for the service. There are plenty of lots throughout the day (with a break in the middle) with just one stop into the town centre and then straight back to the hotel. The journey one way was 10-15 minutes long. I would say that although the food was delicious, the vegetarian options felt like almost all the meals had cheese in and it was only really the soups that didn’t. For breakfast there were cereals, fruit, eggs, pastries and more. A lot of the evening meals were vegetables with cheese. It would be great if they used meat alternatives in the future. You would struggle to eat here if you were vegan or had a dairy/lactose intolerance. I had to skip some meals as I couldn’t handle all the dairy. The staff were great at answering questions and explained what the desserts were when you got to pick which one you wanted. You can order the same food from the restaurant to the room for a small fee. Our phone in the room didn’t work so my husband went downstairs to order and the staff were really helpful. It was great to have room service for when I couldn’t make it downstairs due to chronic illness. At lunchtime you can eat at the outside pool restaurant area and there were sandwiches, pizza, chips and more to order from plus the same drinks that are available in the evening. One thing that was really helpful was the tab screen on the room tv. It updated every day with a full breakdown of what you’ve bought including drinks in the evening, bar drinks and anything from the pool restaurant at lunch time.

Fabulous view of the bay and across to Vesuvious. Didnt mind getting out of bed in a morning to see, but make sure you get a sea view room!! Food served was a little hit and miss, but overall acceptable. Building in need of some refurbishment (but told end of season and hotel will close for the winter soon and work will be done then.) Courtesy bus into town very useful. Staff all very attentive and helpful. Fabulous swimming pool and surrounds.

We visited this hotel for a week after having a last minute enforced hotel switch via Jet2 as our original choice decided to close earlier than expected. Overall happy with our stay hotel had a lovely position overlooking the Bay of Naples with Versuvio in the back ground. Rooms were clean and tidy with a daily service by staff on the fourth floor which was above and beyond, always happy in their work and good attention to detail. Well done to all the support staff. The restaurant food was good and as we were on half board it was nice if swapped dinner for lunch if you wanted an evening trip down into Sorrento. There was ample choice on the menu each evening when the food was well cooked especially the sauces on the pasta dishes and fish. As mentioned in other reviews the weak link was the breakfast which turned into a bit of a bun fight to get any cooked food before it became cold. There was clearly a problem with the heating equipment as most mornings this selection was lukewarm at best. The courtesy bus was great and we used it several times as we were just coming out of the main season we got there and back every time but I could see overcrowding problems with this in high season. The big negative at this hotel is the complete lack of any pavement facility around the hotel. Having read reviews prior to going we feel that this had been understated. We completed the task of walking in/out of Sorrento at times when the bus was not available and have to say it is a fair distance before picking up any form of pavement. We are experienced walkers but our nerves were tested to the full by the lack of room and crazy driving, especially the scooters and it was with great relief when we arrived safely at our destination. Definately it would not be good with children. Overall a lovely country and a good hotel.

Lovely Hotel, our room was 310 & 309 we were there from 5th October to 13th October.2023 . the room was kept spotless with our lovely maid never got her name unfortunately but left a tip (well deserved) the food was good only comment was the breakfast was cold.. we were half board and thought it was a good idea if we were going out to Sorrento at night you could swop and have your lunch free instead of dinner. The staff were brilliant friendly and helpful especially Roberto Yankerino and Guiseppi (think that’s how you spell there names ) what to watch out for is the Taxis always ask before you get in how much .. they charge per person and not for the journey.. they charged us 10 euros per person (5 in taxi) for a 10 minute journey and that was after we challenged the cost .. but hotel was excellent

Large hotel perched on the hill above Sorrento with stunning views of Bay of Naples and Vesuvio. Modern amenities with a touch of old fashioned tile work and marble floors. Food in bars and restaurants was good, even better was ability to swap half board dinner for a lunch so that dinner can be obtained in Sorrento. Shuttle bus into town was great as the road outside was ‘challenging’ to walk down with no pavement and fast traffic. Would definitely recommend, great base to explore Naples area, Sorrento and Amalfi coast.

There are no words to describe how brilliant this hotel is. The physical building and rooms are beautiful, clean and modern. What really makes this hotel are the staff. Every single member of staff could not have been any friendlier. We were greeted with a warm welcome, treated as if we were VIP's. The waiters and waitress were absolutely fantastic, not afraid to have a laugh and remaining professional at all times. We were looked after so well and would recommend you stay here. Thank you so so much for making our holiday so enjoyable, 5*.

Spent 12 days half board in this hotel and wasn’t disappointed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was self service with a choice of yogurt, fruit, cereals plus a hot buffet of scrambled eggs but you could order boiled, poached or omelette along with sausages ( not english but nice) mushrooms, ham, cheeses, bacon some morning along with cakes, pancakes, croissants or toast. The evening meal was a choice of 3 courses and waiter service. Again lovely choices to pick from such as soups, salad, pasta to start with duck, fish, pork and beef dishes ( to name a few) for main. Desserts were brought out on a trolly again delicious choices to choose from. The pool was large and plenty of sunbeds to pick from for the best sun spot. They also had a bar where food/ drinks could be ordered. There was also an outside restaurant where you could have lunch ( if you did not want an evening meal) you could swap for lunch. Outside each evening at the bar entertainment was on singers, piano players etc. A shuttle bus was also available every day to take you into the centre of sorennto, with the last bus being 11.30. ( we had no problems with it being full) Overall great hotel, friendly staff, lovely location over looking mount visuvious would highly recommend .
