The Savoia was booked for us as part of a 3 day Amalfi Coast package and we are very glad the tour company chose this hotel. Spacious rooms, great buffet breakfast and staff/owners who would bend over backwards to make your stay as delightful as possible. The location was great with the main part of town a few hundred metres...

We stayed here for 3 nights when arriving in Italy before our trip to Rome. Sorrento was beautiful and we were so happy to have chosen Hotel Savoia. The location was excellent. The room was comfortable, large, clean and quiet. The enjoyed our breakfast each morning and the owners were so friendly. Everything we needed was close by. Places to...

Our stay here was to provide a base for trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum rather than Sorrento and Capri, so this location within Sorrento was perfect: close to the train station and still an easy walk to the restaurants in Sorrento town center. Since it was February, we weren't worried about the waterfront or the view, so the relatively inland...

This hotel in a mixed residential/small business area, quiet yet active was a gem of a find. With the 3rd generation of this family owned hotel now involved in its operation it was truly the perfect location for a 5 day stay in Sorrento. Arriving late evening, the granddaughter and staff helped us move our luggage to our rooms and...

Great welcome from reception staff, good sized room with balcony, in side annex to hotel. Useful to note that the side of the property overlooks a walled garden and is insulated from road noise. Great location for central Sorrento, just a few minutes walk. Good value for its position in Sorrento.Breakfast reasonable, but for Italy coffee was dreadful.

2 couples. We stayed there for 3 nights. Excellent staff. Hotel is central to whether you want to walk up or walk down to the water. A few good restaurants nearby. Local bus helps with the steep slopes. Highly recommend.

The hotel was in a good position, only about 5-10 minute walk from main square, in a quiet location. Rooms were clean and big enough for our 4 night stay. Only one criticism, it would have been nice to have a choice of eggs, alas, only fried available, but the rest of the breakfast was fine.

We had a very pleasant 7 night stay in September 2015. This family run hotel made us feel very much at home. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and cheerful. The location was excellent, being close to the Piazza Tazzo as well as the railway station. The rooms were more than adequate with a comfortable bed, a balcony and a...

The location of the hotel in relation to the city was excellent. The fact that the rooms were in an apartment building next door was a minus. The breakfast was really good and the staff who served us very nice. The real minus was the rude and off hand attitude of the owner who kept this up for the first...

I stayed 3 nights in June 2015. LOCATION: the location is about a 10 minute walk Piazza Tazzo, the main piazza in Sorrento. The hotel is in a quiet location within walking of a small grocery store and several pizza restaurants. ROOMS: my room was very simple and probably had not been redecorated in about 20 years. There were some...
