We stayed in this wonderful hotel on our 10th anniversary trip to Italy and just loved it. Our room had a little balcony overlooking the town of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. The views were incredible. The hotel is beautiful with old world charm. You could almost imagine Frank Sinatra sitting in the lobby area but it is by no means...

I love this hotel, the view is out of this world!! I think that you can see the whole of Sorrento from every room in the hotel. Needs a little modernising but I suppose that's adds to Sorrento vib. Would definitely go there again.

The hotel itself is very attractive with views of Sorrento and beyond that are eye watering! For the most part, the service was also very good (and should be for the price charged), but there were problems that should not have happened. Our friends' reservation was inexplicably cancelled before their arrival, and the front desk lady didn't even apologize! Then,...

After seeing the pictures of the view on their website, we didn't even shop around...and it did not disappoint! The hotel was dated, but it had the old world charm we were looking for. The service was excellent. We emailed back and forth. They responded to our emails within 24 hours. They arranged for car service from Rome airport and...

This boutique hotel was a classic Italian villa turned hotel and turned out beautifully. They probably should not have used a pale yellow carpet runner as it looked like it could use a good cleaning, though to be fair, light yellow probably would need a cleaning every other day. They should have used a darker color. The furnishings are old-style...

We had high hopes of this place and booked for a whole week. Luckily we had fantastic weather and enjoyed Sorrento and the surroundings. However the hotel was a real disappointment despite having a patio and view of the ocean. The room was small, tired and grubby and with such poor noise insulation that we had poor sleep quality. Despite...

What a wonderful villa, hard to believe it was owned by one family. It has beautiful views and the dining room for breakfast is outstanding. It seems a little dated but truly it is so classic Italian. It is not far from town and with the warm weather an easy trip to nearby stores and piazzas. Strange that when you...

We stayed in La Tonnarella in August 2016 for a week. The first thing that we loved about the hotel was the style - an old Italian villa that had been converted into a hotel. It was clean and modern while retaining an awful lot of the original features. Then we saw the views from the room and our breath...

Just got back from 4 days in Sorrento, this hotel has lots of character and feels very Italian, if you are looking for a modern swanky hotel this is not for you. We found our room to be very clean and with a stunning view of the bay and Mount Vesuvius from our balcony. The outside terrace had spectacular views...

Beautiful accommodation in an original Italian Villa turned boutique hotel. Staff at this hotel are outstanding. Spacious rooms with spectacular water and city views. Great advantage central base point for exploring the Amalfi coast, Capri, Pompeii, and Naples.
