Absolutely Perfect. From check-in to our last day, the staff here made us feel very welcome and relaxed. It truly is a 5-star hotel but not in the snooty kind of way. Everyone is very accommodating and helpful from making dinner reservations to setting up our covid tests for our return flight. I can't think of any complaints about the room and the views you get are just magical. Housekeeping always made sure the room was in tiptop shape when we get back and also the turndown service at night adds that extra something at the end of the day. The artwork scattered around the hotel and in the room are also well thought of and just makes everything feel so much more special. The buffet breakfast has one of the best selections in terms of variety and quality. The lounge room also offers the perfect haven for when you just want a drink/snack between meals. We played chess there and it was just a fun/relaxing experience overall.

I will definitely return here when I'm in Sorrento.

Look no further if you want to be in the cliff with amazing views and 6* service... the hotel is clean, modern and offers amazing amenities such as a private beach (access via private lift), a lounge that offers generous snacks and good quality wine/prosseco. The hotel stands close to the town centre too ! Amazing experience! Obviously it comes at a price but when you take into consideration the private beach and the lounge, actually the room rate becomes quite affordable.

The staff was so wonderful and accommodating. As soon as we arrived they swiftly valeted our car and took our luggage so we could enjoy our warm welcome and introduction to the hotel amenities. The beverages and lite bites that are offered daily in the lobby and perfect refreshers when you enter and exit the hotel. The views of course are stunning from everywhere! The breakfast was fabulous with a wide selection of offerings; we particularly enjoyed the freshly pressed organs juice that’s a fun DIY experience for adults and kids. We regret not dining at the restaurant, but we booked our stay just the day before and didn’t think to request dinner reservations until it was already full. But we enjoyed apperitivo on the lower deck with was spectacular. The private beach dock was perfection and so convenient. Hotel Bellevue and it’s staff certainly exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to return again with friends!

The Syrene is first an foremost an event location and NOT a hotel. There are 3-4 Weddings/ Events a week that last until 00:00. We had a suite right under the events and you cannot sleep until all the event guest have left, because of the noise in the rooms !!! The manager seems to think that this is acceptable for a hotel in this price category (probably because he makes more profit from the events than the hotel), but it most certainly is NOT.

Furthermore, the breakfast they offer is terrible - most airport Hotels will offer better choice and quality (that a 5* hotel in Italy serves cheese in small single serve packages says it all, but even the bread rolls where old - probably from the wedding the night before).

The hotel really gives you the feeling that you are a second class guest …

Besides that, the property looks amazing and the staff are exceptionally friendly.

The location was fantastic. The food was terrible. The staff were at best average. One member of staff in particular was aggressive and rude. We were in a very expensive suite. It had fantastic elements to it like its location and the terrace. However, the room was cold and that is unforgivable in my books. Room service was dreadful. Confusing, vert little choice, no help, when it did arrive it was poor. Attention to detail was terrible. For example the bluetooth music speaker wasn't as loud as my phone. Music is important to us. On the booking Form there was space for special requests. They were ignored. The room looked good superficially but if you looked closer you could see where panels had been cut out of walls and not put back well etc. It was very difficult to control the heat of the water in the bath. The bath was the rooms best feature yet it took a very long time to fill up and yoiu had to sit with it to control the temperature as you could not let water out and more in. If you let any water out the bath completely emptied. The bath was not east to clean and it showed. The key did not work for the door. You could hear people talking in the corridor and on the stairs. In two cases loud arguments. The hotel has no control over loud arguments but what was supposed to be one of the best if not the best room in the hotel was noisy all the time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We were given no help with excursions. We were not offered any help. Thank goodness we sorted them out ourselves. They were by far the best part of the visit. Go Truffle Hunting!

This is a fabulous hotel, in an amazing location. The staff are incredibly attentive, the food is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful.

We were lucky to have a corner room with a double balcony on the 2nd floor and it was perfect. We had a brilliant week here to celebrate our wedding anniversary in June and would really like to thank the staff for making our stay so special.

We had two evening meals in the hotel both of which were really good and our B&B booking included one evening meal with drinks which was a welcome surprise. They served us some lovely cocktails by the little pool on the terrace too. The club lounge area on the ground floor is a lovely place to stop for complimentary afternoon drinks and snacks and there are treats to be had there at all times of the day.

The breakfast buffet and outdoor terrace location for breakfast overlooking Mount Vesuvius was Excellent and despite being there in covid times and having to be served from the buffet, it worked well. We tried some massages in the Spa too which were also really good.

The Beach/pontoon decking area which is accessed either by lift or some interesting tunnels is very nice although watch out for splinters (ouch). It has its own bar area which was a welcome addition. The hotel is very central and an easy walk to the centre of Sorrento and the station and also walkable to both harbours.

We also hired a car and driver through the hotel and did a day trip to Ravello, Amalfi & Positano which was a wonderful day out. We visited Pompei by train and Capri by ferry. The ferry port is a short walk too. Overall a wonderful stay in a fabulous 5 star hotel. We would 100% return here.

Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Amalfi. Every aspect of our experience was truly remarkable.

The warmth and friendliness of the entire staff made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality.

The hotel's location is exceptional, offering unbeatable views of the Amalfi coast. It's a perfect vantage point to take in the beauty of the region.

The on-site restaurant not only serves excellent food but also offers breathtaking views. It's a delightful combination that added to our overall experience.

Special kudos to Concierge Francesco, who went above and beyond to organize our dinner reservations and tailor tour activities to our preferences. We highly recommend booking the private boat tour, which conveniently departs from the hotel's dock.

The presence of the hotel cat was an unexpected bonus, as we enjoyed spotting it lounging around the common areas throughout the day.

The general manager, Federica, is a true credit to the hotel. She was warm and welcoming from the moment we checked in, and she even took the time to locate us in the restaurant & wish us safe travels on the night of our departure. Her personal touch made our stay even more special.

The complimentary lounge with a selection of canapés and drinks changing throughout the day was a nice touch.

If I were to provide one critique, it would be that the rooms could benefit from a facelift. However, they are still generously sized, offer unmatched views, and come with a well-stocked mini bar.

We left with the intention to return; this hotel has left an indelible mark on our Amalfi experience, and we can't wait to stay here again in the future.

This hotel probably has the best entrance I've ever seen in my life. Late April blossom surely added an intoxicating effect, pure fairytale. Furthermore it has spectacular views and its location is one of a kind, surely sensational.
The hotel itself is world class, the main staff bended over backwards to accommodate every possible wish.

I wish I could pass out the full 5 stars here but Im still stuck at 4,5. One thing in particular struck me. I have been asked several times in a pretty unfriendly way if I was a guest in the hotel. Upon showing my key card the energy shifted and I was welcomed with a smile. Any other hotel of this stature would know my name and face after two/three days. This might sound as a petty detail but it's THE most essential part of hospitality to get that part right in a high end place.

Furthermore the room was a bit claustrophobic, even though the receptionist claimed we had an upgrade which I found hard to believe. It fit a bed and that was it. The room also featured a sad excuse for a blue tooth speaker and just wasn't real value for money. The restaurant was good but not as spectacular as we have experienced around the area as well.

Still I would recommend the place specifically in early spring as the decor comes to life in spectacular fashion.

What can I say about this hotel other than it is magnificent. We stayed for our wedding and honeymoon with our two young daughters and I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be the right place for young children, however I was totally wrong. Every single member of staff went out of their way to speak to my children, entertain them and make us all welcome for the duration of our stay. I didn't get any names but the young man at breakfast who was particularly wonderful with them showing my daughter where she could find seashells as she's fascinated by them and letting them play with his water guns. They made pancakes for their breakfast every day and high-fived them all the time. The room has the most amazing view, was spotlessly cleaned all of the time even after 9 of us got ready for the wedding in there and it was left looking rather chaotic. The walk through the caves to the beach is stunning and the solarium is a lovely spot to swim and catch some sun. The restaurant food was sublime. My only slight issue was that we left early in the morning and had requested breakfast boxes twice before checking out but didn't get them, and the noise levels from weddings in the hotel late at night was problematic for us getting the girls to sleep or if we wanted an early night because we were up early the next day for a trip. I think that perhaps the area where events are held is very close to the guests rooms. My daughter cried when we left and has asked to be back at the "holiday house" every night since. An absolute dream of a hotel and a huge thank you from us all.

We spent only one night at this beautiful hotel in Sorrento, but I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for spacious accommodation, incredible view, friendly staff, private access to the sea, private deck with sun chairs and umbrellas.
The hotel is furnished like a private house and it is full of nice pictures, sofas, books, flowers and lots of light.
They offered us a very early check-in and a very late check-out at no extra charge and this was something we really appreciated as well as an upgrade for room category.
Hope to be back one day soon in Sorrento, for a longer stay.
