Loved our stay here. The hotel is tucked away high in the hills of Sorrento (make sure to arrange a shuttle or catching a bus from the train station). The rooms were lovely and fit into their surroundings perfectly. The staff was incredibly friendly and...More

Villa Giovanna is wonderful! There is a shuttle, however, it only has pick up and drop off points in two locations in town. My recommendation is to call Lara at Villa Giovanna and ask her if she can recommend a shuttle service. She did this for us when we needed a shuttle to the Napoli train station. Otherwise, a shuttle service of any sort will generally be a lot cheaper than the local taxis.

Villa Giovanna has a connection with a local restaurant called Tavola de Lucullo (this is one of the 2 shuttle stops, BTW). We loved it so much we ate there every day we were in Sorrento. Food is excellent, chef is fun and friendly. A pitcher of their house red wine is only 9 Euros! I recommend the lasagna, the fried anchovies, the ravioli and their margarita pizza. Mangia!
