What a gem Salerno is. We were happy to stay there as an option to travelling straight back to Rome. We were also happy to have found Albergo Santa Rosa. Would have liked to have stayed longer as Salerno has magnificent historic buildings and a good retail shopping area. Our room was clean. Ask for a room with a balcony....

We found this hotel by accident when our train to Paestum was cancelled and it was a good stay, clean room, clean bathroom, really small shower but doest the job, it smelled a lot like cigarrette smoke coming from another room from the vents but we only spent the night and opened the window. I gave it five stars because...

Location is very convenient, 100m from the railway station, 200m from the waterfront and ferry wharf, along the Vittorio Emanuele avenue where a lot of Salerno nightlife lovers converge. The hotel is actually an apartment at the 2nd floor of a building. The room was sizeable, clean, quiet during the night, quality of the sleep was good, furniture was basic....

I've just returned from a weeks fantastic stay at this charming and ideally located hotel. Just 2 minutes away from Salerno train station on the main shopping street and 5 minutes away from the beach, not only are you ideally based to explore the old and new of Salerno but the rest of the stunning Amalfi coast a nd further...

Easy to locate and close to train station. 2 blocks from the pier, where you can catch a ferry to the town of Amalfi. Pedestrian promenade made walking easy near hotel, little to no vehicle traffic. Restaurants and stores for all types of shopping located close. Room was larger than expected, good size bathroom, average size shower, refrigerator and air...

Albergo Santa Rosa is in a fantastic location near the railway station, bus station, ferry port and also located on a lovely family friendly mall for cafe's and shopping. The staff were superb and we felt so welcome. Every need was attended to and we felt very safe. Value for money was excellent. We actually changed our bus ticket so...

All seriousness aside my wife wet her pants laughing. Requesting an iron she had to perform charades for one of the night staff, who, after 10 minutes of theatrics gave her a hair brush. The same man(uel), earlier had circled his ear with his finger making "crazy" signs when I told him I expected to be allowed out of the...

I stayed in Albergo Santa Rosa when I found my first choice filled. It was a pleasant surprise on the second floor with an elevator. It was conveniently just around the corner from the railway station, 2 short blocks from the waterfront and at the beginning of Corso Vitt Emanuele, a long shopping street with plenty to please everyone. The...
