My wife picked Le Palme because of the amazing views and affordable price. We thoroughly enjoyed eating breakfast or just hanging out by the pool or courtyard while admiring the intoxicating beauty of the Amalfi Coast. We also loved the fact that we could call the Le Palme restaurant and they'd send a driver for us. After dinner, the driver would bring us back to the hotel...all at no extra cost. The steps can be challenging for some but they have lifts for those who don't feel like walking. It was amazing, we'd definitely stay there again. Chris
I just wanted to thank the lady for the service she provided us . I’m sorry I didn’t ask for your name. I thought I had booked this hotel for one night while visiting the Amalfi coast with my elderly father . After getting lost on the mountain for 2 hours and driving back and forth countless times I was so tired and stressed. We called the hotel and the lady came to help us . We figured out that I hadn’t in fact confirmed the booking but also that the hotel would not be suitable anyway due to the huge amount of steps but the lady still stayed with us for almost 30 minutes to help us find somewhere else . We were not her customers and she didn’t have to do that but she did and I’m so grateful. What wonderful service . Thank you again!
Two relaxing days in Amalfi. The place is confortable and beautiful, typical of the amalfitan coast. Our room was clear and provided of towels and soaps. The view from the swimming pool is breath taking. The staff is kind and avaiable for any advice. Very recommended!
We stayed two nights at Le Palme and it was like heaven to us. The views are breathtaking, the staff is very nice and the whole property is very well kept. If you are staying at Le Palme don’t expect the most design rooms but that won’t really matter because all the facilities (swimming pool, hammocks, terraces, ...) are amazing. Salvatore and Teresa treated us as if we were at home. Don’t miss the chance to visit their restaurant in Atrani, one of the bests in the Amalfi Coast. We look forward to return to this awesome place!!
This hotel is perched up high overlooking the beautiful water and the town of Amalfi. The setting is gorgeous. Theresa, was exceptionally helpful and kind. One of the highlights was going to the restaurant owned by the family who owned the hotel. They provided transportation to and from the restaurant. The food was delicious and when we told them we were celebrating our 50th anniversary they served us a scrumptious cake on a huge platter with a big 50 written in chocolate syrup. It was quite impressive. Our only disappointment was with the lifts that were used to take you to and from the street level and the hotel. There were 3 lifts (very slow moving) and at first we thought it was so charming, but charm only goes so far. Every time we used them at least one of the 3 did not work which necessitated us to walk many steps. The final morning we wanted to leave earlier than when they opened for breakfast because we had a long drive ahead of us. (7:00 am instead of 8:00am). They already took care of getting our suitcases up to our car at street level, but we still had hand luggage. When we tried the first lift, it would not come down to meet us at the hotel, so we hiked up the steps to the second lift. The second one only went a few inches and stopped, so again we had to hike up steps. Finally the third lift didn’t work either, so guess what? Another hike! Over 300 steps carrying our hand luggage. If we were in our early 20’s this probably would have been a minor nuisance, but we are both in our 70’s and it was not a pleasant experience. No one mans the desk, so we couldn’t contact anyone. My advice is if you are young, or in great physical condition and enjoy stair climbing workouts stay in this hotel. If not you may want to think twice. …
