Very decent hotel with courteous staff, spotless bedrooms, and a fresh, modern décor...................BUT...............the air conditioning is poor, often being turned off throughout the day so that when you come in at night your room is roasting. Even if you leave the temperature as cool during the afternoon, you will still find that strangely enough it blows out ambient air -...

Not the nicest of places from the outside. The rooms have obviously been recently refurbished and were clean and comfortable with wifi, air-conditioning and fridge. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Would certainly stay again.

Carlos II was a nice clean hotel with big family room for an acceptable price. They also offered inside parking next to the hotel. Our visit was short since we only stopped by for a concert, but from the hotel we had the time to see the roman theatre and some more. As such the hotel gave great potential for...

Very centrally located in Cartegana. It is a little too far to walk to all the major sites without having lots of time. Saying this however the hotel provided a great tour booklet on the key sites that they had prepared. This was fabulous. The ability to park under the hotel was great (in the neighbouring hotel carpark) and to...

If you need a bed for the night in Cartagena you will be fine in this hotel. I had a room with a non-view but it was quiet, clean and comfortable. My reservation was without breakfast and they were asking €9 for breakfast which is a bit steep since you can walk out of the door and get a toast+coffee+orange...

Very nice. Hip and trendy decor, bright colours, clean, well appointed, professional, great location, quiet, nice restaurant, lots of shops in the street. Very close to the bus station and a five to ten minute walk to a stop on the Tourist Sightseeing bus route. Spacious room, good wifi, minibar. Excellent!

Our room looked as if it had been lifted entire from an IKEA showroom. That was fine with us though the mattresses were a bit hard. Free wifi and safe key. It was a good size and had everything you need. The price was I think 47 euros, very good value. The breakfast was also pretty good and inexpensive. There...

Stayed at the Carlos III hotel for two nights on a business trip to Cartagena, upon arrival the surrounding streets were a bit drab but do not let this put you off, this little hotel is very amenable with very friendly staff at the front desk, rooms were very comfortable with a plastic roller shutter which keeps out the noise...
