Its too overpriced. Although location is fine, service and amenities are rather limited. One has to wait for elevators forever. Locker wasn't working in my room and when I asked the reception they "fixed" it by just locking it and I could not use it...More

This was our first visit to Madrid which we loved. The Room Mate Oscar Hotel was ideal, being centrally sited to the very lively areas of Sol and Cheuca and the must see sites are within walking distance. I totally agree with the other reviews...More
The hotel was stylish and modern. The room was comfortable with fun decor. The shower was fine, the drain was a bit slow but no big deal. The location of our room had a view of the air conditioners so that wasnt so great... But...More
last week we visited madrid for the first time and I can say that the experience at the hotel has become part of our stories about the city. The staff at reception desk is unreal, they always welcome you with a smile and are willing...More
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
