We only stayed tonight's but we had a good time. The room we stayed in was the superluxe with hot tub. The room are very clean and the lady behind the reception is very friendly. The location is near all the gay bars. Bit nosiy...More
I stayed at this hotel on a 5 day trip to Madrid. The star rating was particularly low and the cost was at the lowest end of the ranges for Madrid hotels. DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THIS.

The location of this guest house is on point. It is walkable to everything you want. But overall, the wifi sucked, the place is just basic on the inside. Bathrooms are weird but managable.

Overall a clean and nice hostal with an independent bathroom. I would stay there again. Is near everything. This is not a destination hotel but a place where you can comfortably relax after spending your time touring, shooping, partying and eating.

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
