The place as everyone has mentioned, is absolutely TOP QUALITY from all aspects. I am sitting here in the appt writing this review. We are in the one you see with a red sofa in the photos. So I would like to mention the owner Juan and his exceptional 5 star service. He goes out of his way to help....

This place was amazing. You can't beat its location as we just walked everywhere from it. Juan, the owner, was great! He doesn't speak a lot of english but he was very helpful with the sights to see. Even gave us a bottle of wine when we got there. The place itself is very clean and everything was in working...

We found this to be an excellent base for our 4 nights in Madrid. Close to Gran Via and walking distance to Art Galleries, the location couldn't have been better. Juan was most friendly and very helpful when we needed him, advised us of local facilities, left us with a bottle of wine, and provided washing liquid when we wanted...

Great place to stay for 2 nights. Juan was helpful at checkin but we never saw him after that. We loved having the washer as we were about to walk the Camino and had very few clothes. The bed was great-very comfortable. The place was very clean and I highly recommend it. I thought the location was great as well-very...

We booked the Penthouse Apartment and found it spacious, with everything you needed for a family stay. It was the only room on the 5th floor so it was very quiet. You could easily cook a meal for the family. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the host was very welcoming. The windows are high but let in plenty of light...

My family, including my 9 y.o. daughter, spent 5 days in Madrid in August 2015. Excellent apartment, clean, spacious, excellent bathroom and of course great host, Juan. We never used metro once in 5 days as apartment is walking distance to all Madrid highlights. Supermarket is just 1 minute away. Atocha train station is 6 euros cab ride away. Would...

Large apartment which was exceptionally well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Juan the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Great position right in the center of the city but the street itself was very quiet.

Neighbourhood Profile
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
