This was a good online find. Great location with easy access via the Express Airport Bus. Nicely appointed large rooms. Super clean. And, good value for money! Lots of great restaurants nearby and key tourist sites are easily accessible.

We liked the convenience of taking the busbus rome airport to bus terminal. From there it is a short walk to hotel. Staff was efficient and friendly. Bed was one of the most comfortable ever slept in and shower was nice. Wifi good. Hey and so had a gym. There was a noisy event going in all night at a...

The hotel is very close to the Prado and the Reina Victoria museums, the Retiro park, and a number of good restaurants. It's silent and clean, front desk staff are happy to help you, and the price is right. The weak point is breakfast, not up to Spanish standards.

We booked this room for three nights. Given the good price point we found directly on the hotel's site, we weren't expecting very much. However, we were pleasantly surprised! We had a room with two twin beds that was modern and clean. The shower was also lovely. We did not originally have an iron or ironing board, but the staff...

We stayed two nights here, and we loved it. a short walk from the Atocha metro. The glass train station, botanical gardens and the park. 2 museums too. The room was lovely. The bed was big with huge cushions on it which I loved. A telly at the end of the bed was nice. Very clean room and bathroom. We...

Been travelling for 2 years and this is the best 4 star we've stayed at. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing and able to communicate with my lack of Spanish. The breakfast was fresh with an excellent variety. The location was perfect for my needs. Hope to return soon.

The staff recommended a great restaurant and were very nice. This hotel has a great location as it is only about 10 minutes walk from the train station, Prado Museum, and bus stops. There were some transients next door lingering about the McDonalds, but what ya gonna do? The Staff were very good about making recommendations. Would stay here again...

I liked this hotel, it's not in the very center but the rooms where good, the reception was fine, the breakfast was very good. The surroundings are good aswell, there are lots of shops around, the famous discoteque Teatro Kapital is just next to the hotel and just crossing the main street you can buy pre paid chips for your...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days. The room is very nice and the bathroom is huge. The breakfast was amazing. It is also 1,5km from Del sol square which is one of the main squares in Madrid. It is also walking distance from Del Prado museum. Highly recommended. The only suggestion I have to make is that it...

Hotel Paseo was an enjoyable experience! A classy, modern, and warm environment. Located about 100m from the Madrid Atocha train station. Very clean. The hotel restaurant is pricey, but near plenty of restaurants. Will return again!

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
