Very central, nice rooms, good beds, calm , breakfast okay, not great, waiters during breakfast a bit too quick and noisy, all in all: good place to stay at in Madrid. Front desk staff not ready to get information on foreseen registration and shuttle service during a conference. But nice and friendly. Good transfer option from and to the airport...

The hotel is located near Atocha train station. A good selection of bars and restaurants in the nearby area. The standard room was modern and with a very good double bed. The TV was brand new with a great selection of channels. The breakfast room offered a good selection of dishes for breakfast. The stay was unspectacular. Does the job...

Hotel is clean and slightly upscale. Less than 10 min walk to the train station so super convenient. We did witness a failed pick pocket attempt but if you are a smart traveler and keep purses zipped, money and phones secured + pay attention to surroundings it is very safe even at night. Right around the corner is the Prado...

Pros: Clean room, comfy bed, Windows open to outside. Excellent location for Atocha station connections. Cons: Dimly lit rooms don't allow reading, not even at desk. Poor wifi signal strength at desk area (the further from interior hallways).

I was so pleased to stay at Paseo del Arte while participating to the World ATM Congress at Feria de Madrid. I had the best conditions to refill my batteries and get ready for another day of business. I noticed another large group during our stay, and seemed they were involved in total different business. The hotel was able to...

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
