Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, the rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The beds were comfortable with fluffy cushions/duvets and the bathroom was clean and had stocked toiletries. Staff were very helpful when it came to questions about the local area and accommodated...More

We stayed two nights and although we ended getting the metro into the old town as too far to walk it was a great base. Rooms were modern and comfortable, there is a small gym and a great roof top terrace with a small pool.
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of
opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.

Hi Sherri, we found if we arrived back at the hotel around 3pm onwards there was zero chance of getting a sunbed poolside. On the other side beside the bar if the sunbeds were all taken there was usually a comfy chair to sit on. On the day we were leaving we decided to sit out mid morning until it was time to leave for the airport and we had the pick of sunbeds both sides. Good Luck !
