Stayed here with my sister and her friend. It was very central for us as we went on a few tours. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was great. Something for everyone and good hours. No evening meal which suited us. Next to a club was the only downfall. As a city that never sleeps I suppose you have to...

We grabbed a great deal to stay at this place through EasyJet. The hotel is currently in the process of having it's rooms refurbished to match their excellent lobby, lounge and bar/café area - which are excellently designed, much like if you crossed an art gallery with a rustic coffee shop - lots of white walls, reclaimed wood and iron....

Great location, Deluxe rooms are big and newly decorated. Quiet inside even though in a busy city area. Funky young design and furniture. Breakfast was not so good, so skip it and go to the many cafes around, 2-5 minutes walk.

Everything is on the high level. More than worth for money. If you are coming in Madrid thats the place. Unless you have to be in hotel with big name. Stuff was nice, very clean, excelent position but quite without any noice. As perfect boutique hotel. Domagoj and Suzana, Croatia

We stayed there for New Years, so we basically slept during the day and went out at night. This led to a problem with noise coming through the door from the hallway and neighbor during the day. Aside from that, the location was excellent - side street with not much traffic, but still very central. The service was friendly and...

We stayed there for 3 nights including December 31, 2016. We were 6 people in 3 rooms. The location is very central both for shopping and major attractions.(but is about 25 minutes walk from the museums area). The lobby of the hotel is very nice. The standard rooms are OK+. The hotel is relatively new (2013). We got great help...

1) Great location. It is walking distance to many shopping outlets. Close to the train stations. 2) Located in a street filled with graffiti, if you love arts, you will love strolling back and forth of the hotel. 3) Great WiFi connection. I appreciate it really much especially when my prepaid SIM data by Vodafone was running low. 4) Simple...

My partner and I had a wonderful 4 night stay in one of the suite rooms (S1). The room itself was very big, as was the bathroom and the terrace was just excellent, even managed to catch some afternoon sun a few of the days we were here. Had breakfast a few days and was a good selection and all...

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
