My only complaint is that the A/C unit after a little while become noisy. I had to turn it off. I have to say I am quite sensitive to noises. Room was big, clean and the bed was really comfortable. Reasonable price, close to theaters and museums, bar and restaurants.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. We checked in early (11am) and expected to just leave our bags, but the room was ready for us early! The lobby is very cute, the room was nicely decorated and clean. We had a drink and a smoothie at the lobby bar. Both were nice, the bartender/barista/smoothie king even helped my husband with...

A fabulous designed boutique hotel, just off the central Gran Via street. This allowed us to walk everywhere. The room was very specious, and has beautiful design features. Also very clean with great products (body lotion, shampoo and conditioner). The main issue was that we got a first floor room facing the street, and while this is a side street,...

The hotel reception is welcoming and well decorated with good facilities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was clean but could benefit from a little updating and decoration. However, it was comfortable, met our needs and was in keeping with the price we paid. The hotel is well situated for easy walking access to the main centre and attractions...

We stayed here on our trip to Madrid on January. The hotel is superb, very good location, very good service, the rooms are large and well lit. The amenities in the bathroom are of high quality. They had breakfast included in the room price, which was really really convenient. All in all, on our next visit we will definktely stay...

It is overpriced at present, and, not being sexist, it is being run by all female. They have no male on the reception and even at late hours of the night the only person on reception is female. Forgive me this is not at all sexist just the truth

Stayed here with my sister and her friend. It was very central for us as we went on a few tours. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was great. Something for everyone and good hours. No evening meal which suited us. Next to a club was the only downfall. As a city that never sleeps I suppose you have to...

We grabbed a great deal to stay at this place through EasyJet. The hotel is currently in the process of having it's rooms refurbished to match their excellent lobby, lounge and bar/café area - which are excellently designed, much like if you crossed an art gallery with a rustic coffee shop - lots of white walls, reclaimed wood and iron....

Great location, Deluxe rooms are big and newly decorated. Quiet inside even though in a busy city area. Funky young design and furniture. Breakfast was not so good, so skip it and go to the many cafes around, 2-5 minutes walk.

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
