Very clean room, very comfy bed, wish there was a kettle to make a cuppa. The bathroom was a good size. Also sheets are changed after 3 days and the towels every day. We recommend this hotel for sure. Also paid reasonable money for a 5 night stay.

Great location near Prado Museum. Hotel service was friendly and efficient, reasonably comfortable and very clean. Also a nice restaurant next to lobby great for breakfast and a good set menu for lunch. Only negative is that rooms are a bit on small side, and could hear people talking in next door rooms.

I am not sure what the other reviewer's expect for a hotel in a major city and I'm incredible location and at this price, but I was frankly amazed. I was expecting much less. We usually don't spend this much money for a hotel but when I read the reviews and since one of the major reasons we were in...

- Good size room, not very appealing but clean. Quiet despite being on the main road (though our room was not overlooking the road). - Very close to the train station. - Just opposite beautiful botanical garden. Price was good for big city hotel (78€ a night).

Great hotel, little tiny rooms but very clean! The location is excellent. Near 3 museums and a lot of sightseeing, near the city center and the rail station. The hotel's restaurant offers delicious meals. Strongly recommend it!

What a fantastic little hotel. Was so pleasantly surprised - its location (10 mins' walk from Atocha Station or Museo Reina Sofia and literally across the road from the Prado) is excellent, and the rooms are lovely. The hotel interior (lobby and corridors) is nothing to write home about and could probably use a facelift, but the rooms themselves were...

Location of Hotel Mora is excellent. It is situated in the middle of three main art museums and less than 500 meters from Atocha train station with easy and fast connection to airport with train line C1. Also nice Retiro park is very close to hotel. Price level of hotel rooms is reasonably cheap and hotel is suitable for budget...

Although not very modern in decor, this is reflected in the price, and everything that was in the room was clean, in good working order and purposeful. If you want comfort and a pleasant place to stay, then this is a great place. I would agree with those who say the hotel is simple, but it does 'simple' to a...

Hotel Mora has an excellent location. It is a couple of minutes away from the Atocha train station and from there you can get anywhere. The food at the attached restaurant (which deserves its own entry) is plentiful and at very reasonable prices. The lobby was nice and warm, the staff was very courteous. The room I stayed in (a...

We have stayed only 2 nights on our way to other destination. This hotel is very simple, but clean and nice, and the most amazing it is centrally located and in walking distance to all main attractions .The train station is in 8 minutes walk. The open bus stop is on the opposite site next to Prado museum, nice hotels like Ritz...

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
