Can't say enough great things about this property. Front desk and dining room attendants friendly and helpful. Room was huge, more than enough space for two friends travelling together. Bathroom was very large as well. Beds were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Prado Museum within...More
The room was exceptional and the staff friendly. The location is just down the street from Recoletos Park and is an easy walk to the Prado. Breakfast buffet was adequate if a little pricey. All in all this was a very good stay and I...More

The hotel's location is perfect. It is very central and you can reach many things by walking distance. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast delicious and fresh. We had a small kitchen in our room. We didn't use it but it was clean.

After travelling for a month in Spain, Madrid was our last stop. We booked the Jardin de Recoletos for our last three night. The hotel is set in the Salamanca neighbourhood, a toney residential area with high end shopping and close to all the main...More
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of
opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.

We got to the hotel at 10:00 a.m. and the room was ready because I had told them in an email ahead of time that we would be early. They said no guarantees but since it wasn't a busy time of the year, we were accommodated. Yes, they were very accommodating and very professional. Re: sofa bed, did not use it as a bed and didn't really sit on it much either.
