Excellent choice. Very good service. Attention to detail. Well located. Near top shopping area. Staff very attentive to our requests. Good and varied breakfast. Close to metro stations. Nested in one of the most beautiful areas of Madrid

This is by far the WORST NH hotel in Europe. NH has a reputable image in hotels throughout Europe offering comfortable hotels . But this hotel puts the NH hotels through the floor. Let's begin with the rooms; the rooms are tiny. Secondly, the hotel did not have A/C and the temperature in Madrid was 29°C. When I called them...

Dear Mr. Edward A, I am really sorry you had to suffer such heat without airconditioning. Normally, in all Madrid, the heating is on until 1st of May but we never had such high temperatures in April. We have already made the switch of machines, that need 4 hours not 4 months, and the airco is already on. There must...

We are staying here on a weekend break and the hotel has meet our expectations. The room is large and well kept as is the bathroom. The only negative to our room was the view or not view, we looked out on to a small concrete courtyard and very over looked into the other rooms. The staff were very helpful...

We stayed last February 2017 weekend there, because of the vicinity to our business meeting place. Arrived between 10 nad 11 a.m. on Saturday, asked for the breakfast and got an answer, that the dining room was still opened. When we went there, we have been asked for extra charge 23 EUR,since we did not get yet assigned room. The...

I had not stayed in Barrio Salamanca before. Essentially, it's the Mayfair of Madrid - so you should expect prices to be a high here. I got a rate of around €130 incl breakfast which was cancellable, but prepaid. In that context, I though it was an OK hotel. However, apart from the area, a boutiquey lobby and a very...

NH Lagasca is a business hotel in the heart of barrio Salamanca, a very elegant and original quarter in the centre of Madrid, 10mins walking to the Parque El Retiro. It's the classic business hotel lacking of atmosphere but very elegant and modern. The rooms seem to have been refurbished recently. I had one of the worse room of the...

Very nice hotel in a premium location. The rooms were new and very well decorated. My bathroom was a bit small, but I had beatiful views over Lagasca street. Tons of places to have lunch or dinner around, perfectly well communicated and in the shopping district of Madrid. Great, great choice.

Very good located, the rooms are nice, clean and well equipped. Super receptionist, very helpful. Amazing breakfast, typical of the Nh family. The only thing I can complain is the fact that my room was exposed toward the street and it has been noisy all night. People screaming, laughing, cars and buses crossing.... Being there for work, I would like...

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
