I have stayed three nights in this well located hotel, in the Salamanca quarter. It is a very vibe area with all the amenities you might need only a stone away from the hotel. The room was well equipped, neither too big nor too small. It was very quite and clean. Comfy bed, huge shower. I highly recommend this hotel.

Recently stayed in the vincci soma hotel. Room was a good size and well appointed with a good wifi speed. The major issues were how hot the room was, and the little soundproofing in the room. You could hear everything from the other rooms and the corridor which resulted in a poor sleep. The breakfast was excellent though. It had...

The hotel was very nice and the service was great. But the miserable temperature in the room (and the lack of accommodation to cool the room) ruined the experience so that my memory of the hotel is mostly unpleasant.

Delightful friendly staff. Very good breakfast, catering for all tastes and with an excellent choice of hot and cold items. Lunch was equally good. Situated in the perfect location for us, our daughter lives in Goya. Our room was 806, with a balcony overlooking Calle Goya. It was a confortable room but the traffic noise was relentless, including throughout the...

Whilst this hotel is in a great location and is a reasonable hotel in terms of overall facilities, it really disappointed me. The bedroom was very hot and noisy. I did not sleep well for 3 nights. When I asked they said they switched the air conditioning system off completely outside of the summer months and did not provide fans....

vincci soma is one of the best located hotels in Madrid, Salamanca is the shopping area of Madrid with the best shops ( luxury and not). Very close you can find many restaurants and bars. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast very nice. I believe that the biggest advantage of this hotel is the friendly personnel even if some of them...

We go to Madrid frequently to visit our son who lives close by. This is our second time at this hotel which is conveniently located. On this occasion we booked late so the room was a little pricey, but we were again pleased by the hospitality provided. The receptionists were fluent in English and friendly - a good start. The...

Nice hotel, very accommodating when needing to check in early. However, the room was very hot and when asked to fix air they said they didn't have air conditioning. We opened window and the smell of smoke was overpowering along with the noise.

A great hotel within walking distace to all central places. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the reception staff. The breakfast is very good with a rich selection of dishes, warm and cold. Only down side is that the rooms could be a bit quiter (both from the street if your room is facing that direction) but also noise from the...

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
