We stayed here for a few nights on our honeymoon. The location was perfect, the room was just what we needed. The walls are a bit thin, but it was only noticeable during busier times of the day. The staff was excellent and incredibly friendly!

Enjoyable stay at JC Rooms: I stayed at this place for five nights. It was a great experience to be very close to all attractions, restaurants and shopping area. Although the rooms were small yet they were comfortable. My room did not have a computer as was stated on the web.

The location of the hotel was very good. The room, however was very small, but clean. There is also a shuttle bus which can pick you up from the airport and bring you to it, which is very efficient because you arrive faster than using the subway. Also, the staff was friendly and helped us with useful information.

A small, clean, comfortable hotel near the center of Old Madrid, and great value for money. The receptionists during our visit were exceptional: kind, patient, knowledgeable and warm. The rooms are small, but bright and quiet. Bonus: there are several good restaurants a five minutes' walk away.

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for one night (4th September, 2016) during our recent trip to Spain. Room and linens are nice and clean, but for a double bed - the room and the bath is too small. Front office staffs are very friendly and helpful. Aziz & Momtaz Chowdhury from Canada

We went on a family vacation for 4 days in Madrid and choose to stay in the family room. We read some of the comments here and thus we were concerned about the possible noise and the lack of space in the room but luckily we did NOT have any of those problems. Our room was big enough, very cosy...

Perfect location, 3 minutes walk from metrostation Opera, in the middle of the centre. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are clean, and perfect for a City trip. Only negative point for the 'light sleepers'is that its quite noisy (slamming doors, could hear people talking next room and on corridor)

Great stuff, great location close to the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor. You can also find many bars and discos around. Average room with a fridge, alright for sleeping. Nice choice for a 3 star hotel.

Staying in Centro

Neighbourhood Profile
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.

“- Wifi was pretty weak in rooms, so make sure WiFi works better if you are internet freak like me. - Even local SIM card connection had no range at all. So make sure you can check if you are getting a connection in a room - Make sure about AC as well , 2nd time I had issue with AC - As well as check with Bathrooms that does not have hot shower or water coming into room”
