I spent a few nights in this hotel and I really enjoyed the courtesy of the front desk staff and the comfort of the rooms, as well as the overall location. Being in the barrio de Salamanca, the hotel is definitely quieter than those in the city centre but still reasonable close to all touristic attractions. And in my opinion,...

Bed ok, good shower, excelent location, good breakfast, some rooms are very noisy ( the sliding doors elevator is too noisy and some windows don't isolate properly the outside noise, avoid rooms facing calle Jorje Juan)

Very good hôtel, cheap and modern. The breakfast is good, next to the Quintin which is a very good restaurant and a place to drink good wine after work. All the people working there are sympathetic. What else?

The hotel is well placed to lots of good restaurants and shops. The Room was good with nice sheets and beds. The bathroom is strange in the form of a big glass box in the room. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has its own taxi which is much nicer to get to the airport for the same price as...

Stayed for 4 days while in Madrid for a conference. The location is unbeatable, right smack in the middle of Barrio Salamanca -- an upscale shopping and dining district of the city. Nothing great about the facilities... in fact, I found the rooms quite small. However, it is more than made up for by the quality of service. The staff...

Very good place to stay that is central to a great district. It is a converted apartment building with eccentric lifts. Service was minimal but friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size and everything worked! Despite being on a narrow and busy street it was easy to get in and out with copious luggage.

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
