My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in July 2016 as part of a walking wine tour, our room was huge and comfortable although a bit dated. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was gorgeous. It is a two minute walk to the many bars / pintos bars in Haro. The breakfast was vast...

Impressive setting in this former monastery, it's just that given how it was opened in 1989, it seems it's largely stayed with the same decor and amenities since then. For the level it's supposedly classed at (4 stars) it really needs a touch of newness. Staff is well trained and attentive.

I booked two rooms on 26.02.17 for the night of 11.05.17. One of our group who had previously stayed at this hotel at least twice before was diagnosed with cancer and is having to have radiotherapy, so our whole trip has been cancelled. On 25.03.17 I contacted the hotel asking for a credit against a future trip as i appreciated...

We stayed at this Hotel due to a wedding celebration and we enjoyed it a lot. Sited in the center of the town, nicely decorated, beds are very confortable, it was a great patio, staff is very kind and helpful, food was well prepared and at a reasonable price. What else can you ask for?

This place turns into a guarderia for tots at about 6:30 pm in the evening. If you feel like having a drink with 2 yr olds. that is fine, but at the current rates, I don't think so. Aside from the kindergarten in the main hall, the service is miserable, staff miserable, and I wish I had booked elsewhere. Do...

We stopped here for one night en route to Cantabria, having already visited Haro a few year ago. The hotel is a really beautifully converted monastery - amazing atrium conversion of the central courtyard - and tastefully furnished. The bedroom itself had a slightly austere feel in keeping with the history of the , but the beds were comfortable, the...

This is truly a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. Great service and attention to detail. The historical building just added to the enjoyment. The hotel's breakfast is superb and the restaurant has a good selection of dishes of the region and, of course, delectable Rioja wines.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is adequate. The street noise went on until 2am on the weekend and until midnight on the week days. Very difficult to sleep. Be advised that the air conditioning is turned off On October 1st. Interesting building. Staff not very helpful

Had lunch here as part of a tour of the area - it wasn't perfect but very good value and overall very good. Several courses with wine - steak particularly good. Extremely nice setting sitting in the courtyard. Would definitely like to stay in future.

Lovely historic building and well appointed rooms. We found the service in the dining room was very slow which was a shame as the food and wine were very good. Generally the staff were not 'sympatico'. There are plenty of restaurants around which were lively and welcoming. (I must add that we were a party of 8 youthful OAP's and...
