We stayed at the Bristol Hotel for 4 nights at the end of April and booked it as the cost of the mini break was very reasonable. As people have said...do not expect a 4 or 5 star hotel.....we did not expect too much based on the price. We were with another couple and immediately on arrival we all noticed...

Just back from a lovely little trip to Gibraltar. Had a lovely sized room at the Bristol hotel, location of this place is superb. Wifi was good rooms were clean. Breakfast was simple but fine. If you're looking for a 5* establishment then this isn't the place for you but it's located central on main street and close to marinas...

Located just few meters of Main street, about 20-25 min walk from airport. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and bathroom good size, but need desperately in need of upgrade as really old fashion , bit smelly. Shortage of plugs in logical places around room. Bathroom massive but not terribly clean. Breakfast not good, served in separate garden across the...

If you are looking for a luxury, modern, sparkling hotel - then don't go here - However, if you are looking for a friendly, clean, quirky, serviceable hotel with an excellent central location and don't want to break the bank paying for it then this is definitely it. Yes it is dated, definitely a kick back from the 70's with...

Pool is small but clean, has cover over it till the warmer days,so nice to swim - but be warned the pool bar is open to...

We stayed in a twin room for 4 nights. The hotel clearly hasn't been updated since the 1970s, but was generally clean and in good repair. Room was well air-conditioned, and the TV was good - good range of UK and Spanish channels in HD. Breakfast was a miserable affair - if you were lucky the boiled eggs were still...

The building was a mish-mash of corridors, steps, different levels and awkward corners due to very poor alterations in order to cram in as much accommodation as possible into what had previously been a gracious building. The floor coverings were many and varied and very old-fashioned. The same applied to the furnishings. The walls were decorated with framed jigsaw puzzles....

This hotel grew on me, My first impressions confirmed the reviews I'd read, so the dark insides, the squeaky beds and tiredness of the place (the bathroom decor reminded me of a caravan's toilet) were no surprise. However this is not the worst hotel in the world and is very similar to many London Hotels at the same price, ie...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Furniture in room a little outdated but clean nevertheless with very comfy beds and spacious. Tele as you would expect. Breakfast is out of the building and around the corner. Very basic. Nothing warm except toast but all the usual cereals, yoghurt, ham etc. Cleaners came every day but early and for the first two...
