A little luxury at the end of the Camino. Just out of the centre, but less than ten minutes on foot to the cathedral. The location is excellent. Rooms spacious and well appointed modern fittings - which does mean a shallow sink and a comedy shower - but everything works. I'm a little bemused that I've been unable to dry...

I stayed at this hotel about three years ago. I had initially made reservations at Hotel Moure, but due to it being the low season, my reservation was transferred to this hotel. My stay was absolutely fabulous, it's a nice boutique hotel smacked in the historic center of Santiago, at walking distance of the main attractions. The staff was super...

Altair Hotel is the perfect place to stay while visiting Compostela. Really close to all the historic buildings in the old town but away from the noise of Santiago's night life. The room was simply perfect, exactly as described. Nice warm environment (that was awesome as we visited during winter) and amazing morning light thanks to the beautiful windows. Staff...

This hotel is simply superb. I can find no other adjective to better describe this wonderful hotel. What do I like: the design of the rooms is spectacular with a perfect mix of stone walls, woodwork, wood furniture, modern and functional bathrooms, the quality of the linen and towels, the amenities, and simply everything. The hotel is perfectly located, right...

At first, the outside appearance was discouraging, but, once inside it was nicely appointed and a relaxed yet efficient atmosphere. A nice room with a very attentive staff. Breakfast was great. This hotel is a real value for the price.

We stayed here for a couple of nights after walking the Camino. What a find! Wonderful hotel, great location, quiet, easy walk to Praza, great staff. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Room was comfortable and clean. A couple of good restaurants around the corner.

As suggested by Hotel Costa Vella, we moved to this hotel, where the room was larger and there was an elevator. A small but classy hotel with 11 rooms with very helpful receptionists. The breakfast was nicely presented and the expresso coffee was delicious!

My husband and I loved our three night stay at the Altair Hotel. It was perfectly situated in old town with a short walk to the Cathedral and the sights. The manager, Diana, did everything in her power to make sure that our trip was perfect! She gave us detailed information on where to park our car, to eat, and...
