We stayed at the Hotel Costa Vella for 5 nights. The hotel itself is beautiful. We were on the 1st floor over looking the garden. The staff were always incredibly helpful suggesting sites to see and places to eat. They were also incredibably helpful with storage of a wheelchair for my grandma who was travelling with us. We can't wait... More

We began & ended our trip to Galicia & Asturias at Hotel Costa Vella, and we are so grateful we made this decision. The hotel is absolutely lovely! We stayed in second floor rooms overlooking the hotel's terrace-beautiful view from our rooms. We loved hearing the lively & cheerful conversations from the terrace and the hotel's management is dedicated to... More

Fabulous hotel close to the square with the most amazing owners and staff who make you feel like your the most important person there. It has awesome gardens to relax with a lovely glass of wine after a hard days walk on the Camino.

This lovely, small hotel is just inside the historic area of Santiago de Compostela. It is an old building that has been lovingly restored and modernized extremely well. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The terrace gardens are beautiful. Breakfast is extensive and wonderful (especially their own honey). But, the best part of this hotel is the staff. They... More

We returned here after 5 years and the warm and familiar atmosphere persists unchanged. We booked late and got a tiny little room under the roof. Quite small but cosy. However we had to climb up 3 sets of stairs which we found quite an effort. So Javier and Roberto suggested that we move to another hotel nearby for a... More

We had two nights at the hotel. We were given a warm, helpful welcome. Easy secure parking in a crowded town organised by the hotel. Lovely room overlooking the garden with a rooftop view. Service fantastic, highly recommended.

Almost everything about this place is just right. Don't get me wrong, we're not talking luxury here but comfortable well equipped rooms and bathrooms. The staff and management could not have been more helpful while I was there and in making arrangements before I arrived. There is a sister hotel down the road the Altair, where I have stayed a... Not far from main center but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. A very good medium priced hotel. We were not disappointed. Lovely cafe garden (see separate review). A decent shower and comfy bed. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is truly a beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is one of the best in value for money we have stayed anywhere. The breakfast for 6 euro is a treat and is served inside or in the garden. It is in demand so book early. It is about 30 minutes walk from the... More
