We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer at this beautiful family run hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The area is picturesque with cobbled stone alleys to explore. Breakfast was excellent, with many choices. I’d definitely recommend this hotel

This small, family-run hotel inside the old city walls was totally wonderful. It's ground-floor had walls dating from Roman times, and the Medieval (?) exterior was well-preserved. Our top-floor room spanned the entire width of the building, with seven tall, arched windows

Very comfortable room, thoroughly renovated. Electronically controlled shower was enjoyable and easy to use. Best location next to cathedral and Jewish quarter. Friendly staff. Breakfast was like a smorgasbord of tasty choices, including eggs.

This was a lovely hotel, located right in the heart of old Girona, up a a lot of steps but well worth the walk. The owner took us to our room, which was lovely :up on the 4th (top) floor with its own little terrace. The room was very stylish with quirky woodwork and an open

Charismatic hotel, convenient location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast, helpful staff. Cathedral bells add to the charm and did not disturb. Red room had striking decor. Note no tea or coffee in room facilities.

La puerta del baño es de cristal. Ojo con ella, que no se ve!!!!!
We had the Angels Suite on the top floor. It did not have a balcony, but it had wonderful windows across the front of the building, and the terrace was a few steps away. Other rooms described on the website list balconies as a feature, and I would trust them because the owner is wonderful.

You can park for free in a parking lot just outside the walled old town. The hotel is a very short walk away. Email the owner. He is very helpful.

Do the apartments have hair dryers?
We stayed in the hotel, not the apartments. We did have a hairdryer. The owner is very helpful and I am sure if you request one then it will be provided.

We took the bus from Girona airport to the city centre, then walked. About 10 minutes, cathedral well signposted and it's literally around the corner from the cathedral.
