Very clean comfortable room. Best bed I have ever slept in in a hotel! Very good breakfast with a big choice of fresh foods. Location is about 10 minutes walk from train/bus station and about 20/25mins from the old town.

Well run hotel next to El Cort Ingles department store in characterless area on main road south of Girona centre. The rooms are very comfortable (although ours was not especially well cleaned: watch out for those dusty surfaces) and, although we were at the back western end and therefore overlooking the train line, ours was remarkably quiet (double window). It...

This hotel is worth staying in. We found rooms at about E55/night which was great value. Rooms clean, staff very helpful and with excellent English. Girona is well worth a visit. Most people head for Barcelona but as we have been there, we took a train to Figures and went to the Dali museum which isn't really my usual thing...

We stayed at Melia Girona for 5 days. Clean, quiet, spacious rooms, varied breakfast items, overall a very pleasant experience. Staff very helpful and spoke english very well which in Spain it is a big plus. All for a very good price. Very central just 5 minutes ride with the bus to the old town of Girona/ Girona city centre,or...

Just had a weekend at this hotel . Rooms very good as was resturant . Staff very helpfull. The location is a bit out from the centre. Room service very good. Free internet . However the parking at just under €14 per night was a bit over the top . Would certainly go back just park the car elsewhere.

A very good hotel which does not match some of the negative comments on this site. The staff (especially David and restaurant staff) were extremely polite and helpful. The room itself was spacious and the breakfast buffet was superb! Granted the hotel is not next to the cathedral as claimed-it is a good 20 minute walk into town. However this...

This hotel exhibits the usual Melia high professional standards of cleanliness, traditional furnishing, and welcome. The reception staff are warm, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent, the bedroom comfortable and nicely arranged with enough storage and toiletries and the price is excellent value. It is such a pity that the location is not especially convenient for the sights of...

Nice rooms, wonderful & very helpful staff, & a lovely jacuzzi area. Can't beat it for value & relaxation after a day of exploring old Girona. Parking is free if you don't use the hotel lot; however, the only down side that it was a bit far from most restaurants, except there is a local one closeby that is good....

We arrived at the hotel Melia tired after our journey, the staff at reception checked us in quickly and effeciently. Our room was spacious and well decorated, there was a kettle and coffee and various types of teas, a mini bar was also in the room. The bathroom was equipped with shower gels and shampoos, cotton buds, these were of...

It was not our first stay in this chain. The hotel is situated next to Railway station, but the soundproof is total. The room is closer to 5* than to 4*, the breakfast - very reach and tasty. But view from your room was poor and don't open the window - noisy! Don't agree when they propose you their parking...
