Easy access over the bridge to the old city and easy walk to railway station. We had room 311 as I like to look out into the street. . Wifi didn't really work in the room, and no english language TV channels. But hotel convenient for old city, reasonable L shape room so had a small seating area, clean room...

We stayed here as a part of our tour. The room was very large but quite outdated. The lobby has obviously gone through a renovation so I think that the rooms will follow. Wifi was free in our room but extremely slow but that was common through most of the hotels we stayed in Europe. The room was air conditioned...

We stayed here on our first and last night during our two week holiday. A wonderfully central location just over the bridge into the old quarter of the city. The little train trip is well worth taking to get an overview of the city. The hotel is clean ,bedrooms though small are very adequate and very helpful staff at reception. There...

I spent 2 nights in a single at the Hotel Peninuslar in late May. The room was small, but clean and had lots of counter space in both the bedroom and bath. There were a few flaws that limited my comfort at this hotel. Toilet paper was supplied as squares of paper, rather than a roll – I personally strongly...

Stayed one night as part of a cycling tour. Efficient check in abd bike locked in garage over the riad. Rooms average size for a city hotel but clean and adequately furnished. Breakfast room could be small if many people arrived at once. Its star benefit is its location just off the river and less than 5-10 mins from the...

This was our third stay at the hotel and in the past we had been happy to stay there but this time i had the distinct feeling that it is in decline, right from the start as we checked in i was aware of a lack of enthusiasm by the staff, the guy who checked us in was only just...

The hotel has a swish foyer/reception and the breakfast area and restaurant are very pleasant, but 'oh dear' the rooms are a huge let down, they seem dated and poorly thought out. We found a half consumed bottle of wine beside the bed which suggests that cleaning is not attentive. Soundproofing is poor. The price was ok but in all...

After trawling around Girona and finding no signs of life in any of the hotels and Hostals around the historic part, I reaturned to the Information Office and the charming young lady found me this hotel, justy on the other side of the Pont de Vedra which joins the old and new parts of town. It was ideal, a decent...

Excellent centre location, a great find from the Tourist office. Staff friendly, room & en suite clean. But, the double glazing didn't seem to prevent much noise, so the bin men, and then a charity run woke us early in the morning. Easy walking to the old city, (and its walls) as well as the main square with many restaurants...

I selected this hotel as 3 star, having had problems with a couple of 2 star hotels during the previous three weeks. But it was well below those 2 star hotels, a very basic room room, and heating that did not work. I was offered another room, but heating in that did not work either. After a lot of persistence...
