Excellent location for this hostel ... went with a few friends, and the accommodation was above average - good use of technology to make sure drunk people got home, while protecting personal belongings with a wrist-band key. Helpful front-desk staff, decent amenities in the kitchen, everything was very clean, and good value for money. Beds were a little too creaky,...

A great youth hotel with a large meeting room where we can do many activities. Rooms were clean so were the showers. Not far from many tourists attractions, located on a calm street and close to a subway station. It's a great location for an hotel. The only negative thing was that conditionning air was controled by the receptionnist. Otherwise...

I visited Barcelona two times and stayed here both times. The rooms were very clean as well as the bathrooms. (I always suggest wearing flip flops in Public Showers). The staff were very helpful and we loved the Bike Tour they offered. Will be back!

We stayed in a private double room on the 6th floor and it was so quite you wouldn't even know you were in a hostel. It was great to be able to socialize with the other guests and there are some really cool spaces like the terrace on the 2nd floor. It was so clean! Can't believe how clean for...

We stayed here only one day, but I can recommend it. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean. Everything looks safe with the special bracelets. The bathroom was clean, little small but we didnt have any problem. I like also the small terrace in the second floor. My sister and I stayed here for three days and had an absolute blast. If you're looking to make new friends, go out to bars/clubs - all while feeling safe and clean - this is the place for you. It's not fancy and the rooms were somewhat crowded, but that added to the charm. The staff was A++, especially Walter...

The hostel was fine. We spent one week there and it was good. The room was pretty small but clean and close to the bathroom. Only three bathrooms for each floor but it was alright, we never waited long to take our shower. The hostel has a system with electronic bracelets, which is just fine. You can open the door...

Staff were great, rooms were above average and the common area was always kept clean and was a great time. One issue we had was with the noise we have stayed at several hostels and none have been as noisy as this one. On one occasion there was 6-8 people in the hallway at 5.30am screaming and carrying on. Also...

I stayed here in October 2013 and had a great experience and met some amazing people that I still keep in touch with. The hostel had a very fun inside bar and community center that helped encourage the community feel of the hostel. The hostel is small enough that you began to know everyone if you stayed for a few...

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
