We opted for a private room for the two of us, which ended up being incredibly small. Trying to get both of us dressed at the same time was a bit like trying to dress on a submarine, or so it felt. The common areas (outdoors and indoors) were nice, the wifi was fast, and our room even had a...

Hola! Thanks for your comment! There are 2 metro lines near the hostel, 5 minutes walk L3 (the main one) and 7 minutes walk L5. We are near touristy things as Horta Laberinth, Bunkers and Park Guell. 17 minutes by metro to the center, we offer something different in a local area. Also 2 big supermarkets 1 minute walk :)...

I quickly fell in love with this hostel right from check in. Very welcoming accommodating staff, there is a friendly feel throughout the place. It is very clean and even has a terrace with a beautiful view especially at night. It's far from the centre (20 mins on the metro), but it is perfect as it is not too far....

This is rather a love song to Garden House than a review, I love this place so much, it's my home away from home in Barcelona. It is a calm, peaceful, lovely little part of the big rushing world where you have space and time to smell the flowers, to see the morning sun from the rooftop when doing yoga,...

This was my first time ever in Europe, and hence my first time in a European hostel. It was an excellent hostel - very clean, comfortable dorm beds, big lockers, well stocked communal kitchen, in a quiet neighbourhood and easy walking distance to two metro lines which take you into the city centre and anywhere else you want to go,...

Really relaxed hostel. Lots of places to chill and meet people. Full communal kitchen and fridge so you can cook all your meals. Staff are friendly and they plan nights out for the guests staying at the hostel. Wifi was good. Phillippe was awesome, he went out and purchased an extension so that we could charge multiple devices from our...

Let me start by saying that I stayed 4 nights in May of 2014 & was traveling by myself. It was an excellent, laid back, friendly atmosphere, from the moment I checked in with Phillipe. Locker cabinets (bring your own lock) were good size, plenty of bathrooms never had trouble getting into one when needed. Loved the rural setting of...

This hostel is quite a way out of the centre but it is easy to get to anywhere you want to go, being a few minutes to 2 main metro lines and it is a great place to get away from the crowds and chill after a day/evening in the busy centre. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm and...

I chose the Garden House hostel cause it is in a quet suburb away from the centre. From the first phone conversation with Phillipe, the manager, I knew this hostel was going to be friendly. If you travel alone you won't be lonely cause its a very chatty place. It has a young vibe but I saw older travellers also....

I've stayed here before and love it, so much so I keep coming back. So chilled out and lots of outdoor space which is hard to find in a city! The hostel is 20 minutes on the metro out of town on one of the main lines. It's situated in a quiet area of Barcelona which has it's own little...
