My son and I had a great time in Barcelona. Staying in Ana's was certainly part of that. Ana and Nathalie were very friendly and helpfull. The rooms (we stayed in 2 of them) are clean and cosy. Breakfast is good and you can relax in the common room or enjoy the balcony. There is practically no noise from the...

It was my first time in Barcelona and my first time of solo traveling. I found Ana'a Guest House on website and it was the best choice I could have made. The place is very clean and its location safe and very central ( it's easy to walk to many city main attractions and metro is just accross the street...

The room was smaller than it seems in the pictures. However the place is clean and comfortable, the location is convenient, and the women that run it are nice and helpful.

We stayed at Ana's during our first night in Barcelona (unfortunately we had planned to stay w/ friends for the rest of our quick trip). The location is awesome, across the street from a Metro station, right in the middle of the city. The building and the apartment itself are beautiful (especially the balcony with the stained glass windows). The...

Our host Ana and her daughter Natalie made us very welcome and offered immaculate service when it comes to accomodation, with very spacious room and nice breakfast. We enjoyed having breakfast on their pretty little balcony, with plenty of plants and flowers: very pleasant way to start the day. Ana took her time to offer her services and advice on...

Literally steps from the metro Anna's is well located and offers a fantastically warm and hospitable experience. I stayed in a single room for 2 nights until a friend came to meet me. Anna and Natalie were more than helpful in planning my trip for a single occupancy and switching me to a double room when my friend arrived. Traveling...

Ana & Natalie are simply beautiful people - very friendly, warm, gracious....the list goes on. Always willing to help and provide helpful tips. They provided me with tips on a nice beach and how to get there (riding the Metro and the train), tips on booking tickets on-line to see Sagrada Familia rather than queuing for hour(s), a suggestion to...

We stayed at this lovely little B&B in Barcelona in February, 2011. It is not located in the heart of the tourist area, but is close to the Sagrada Familia church and a 20 minute walk to Placa Catalunya. There is a Metro stop across the street. Ana and her daughter are gracious and outgoing, with great information about the...

Having researched a few other guesthouses and hotels and read a variety of comments made on Ana's guesthouse I can only come to one conclusion............what a fantastic, great place to stay!! We all have our own opinions and perceptions in life and can read too much into things but my overall view is that I would most definitely recommend Ana's...

We truly appreciate the warm welcome & kindness of Ana's Guesthouse. Upon arriving Nathalie insisted us to have free buffet breakfast. Ana allowed to leave our baggage in their place after check-out since we had an overnight train to Paris. She still even lent us the keys for the gate & maindoor. The location is very accessible, near the Metro...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
