We stayed at H10 over the Black Friday weekend. The hotel had a fantastic location at Placa de Catalunya where you can find shops, restaurants and the metro all within walking distance. The express bus, Aerobus, from the airport also stops at Placa de Catalunya.
We got a room on the second floor facing the road. Although there were many celebrations along the main streets due to the Black Friday shopping/Christmas light up, the sound proofing from the windows was quite decent and our sleep were not really interrupted by the noise outside.
The "Double Room with Balcony" had a decent size and the bathroom had two sinks which was convenient when getting ready in the morning.
Staff were friendly and were always stationed near the entrance 24 hours.
There is a pool on the rooftop and the view from the rooftop was awesome.
Overall a very good stay here.

What a gem of a hotel. The ground floor pool area is a haven of tranquility, calm and quiet and very relaxing. The small pool (shallow) is also nice for a dip. It also has a roof top pool but as it offered no shade we did not use. Our room was lovely, spotless, nice design with a very large balcony with very comfortable chairs and drapes so you could block out the sun. Lunch on the outside patio was delicious in particular the homemade croquettes yum! Service was excellent, greeted with a welcome drink and given the opportunity to taste wine at the bar before purchasing the bottle. We felt the drink and food prices were very reasonable and it’s the first hotel we have stayed in where the mini bar prices are the same as the local bar prices. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and in a great location. We will certainly stay at this hotel again when we return to beautiful Barcelona.

Absolutely stunning Hotel,set right in the heart of Barcelona. Check in was smooth and we were offered a glass of bubbly whilst checking in Booked through Jet2 but we then upgraded to a room with a balcony for a small charge. Rooms were really nice with everything we needed for a short break. One tiny tiny criticism was the wardrobe was a bit too small.
Breakfast was delicious, with a choice of cereals,coffee, fruit juice etc But a big game changer was they had menu where you could order a freshly made breakfast,eggs,bacon, sausage etc,great idea and saves throwing cooked food away. The hotel itself is beautiful with a quality finish throughout. 2 pool areas, 1 one the ground floor with a nice seating area, bar just inside Then 1 on the rooftop, didn't use it but had a look and again,stunning. We had a fabulous stay. The location is perfect, with the aerobus stop five minute walk from the hotel (making the airport journey cheap and easy) and being able to walk easily from the hotel to local attractions and restaurants without the need for public transport. The staff were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a drink at the bar in the evenings before heading out with the bar staff being attentive and personable, wine prices being very reasonable. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Barcelona.

My family and I booked to stay in this hotel for 5 nights in three rooms. From the outset it was notified to the hotel that this was to celebrate the 30 th birthday of my daughter. There was no gesture or acknowledgement of this special occasion by the hotel. This was most disappointing given the amount of money the hotel received from 6 guests. The room cleaning was still not carried out at 5 pm. We had left the room at 9am to go sightseeing and when we returned at 5 pm it was still untouched. We complained to the reception staff who did not even apologise. On our departure we asked to speak to the hotel manager and were told that they were not available. The duty manager Rocio was so bad mannered and did not even listen to our complaints and offered us no gesture of compensation for our disappointing experience. She had no customer service experience or training and did not even apologise for the late housekeeping. The hotel is centrally located but as far as a positive and pleasant customer experience goes I would not recommend at all. Once they take payment that is all that matters

This hotel was in a great location within walking distance or short taxi ride to many things and within a block of Metro. We arrived way early (9:30 am) and knew our room would not be ready, they graciously checked us in and held our luggage so we could go explore the city. If you sign up for their free H10 rewards program you receive 2 free complimentary drinks from the hotel bar. Hotel has 2 pools, one off the back of the main level and a roof top plunge pool. My only complaints was 2 days in a row there were no pool towels in the cabinet and had to constantly go searching for towels from hotel maid or grab a bath towel from your room, also the rooftop pool had a sign with a picture of a phone for bar service at the pool but there was no phone anywhere and no waitstaff attends to the pool area? Minor issues that hotel could have focused on. We did not do the breakfast so can not comment on. There are TONS of restaurants nearby so no shortage of food options. Tapa Tapa right next door to the hotel was always a favorite and easy spot to grab a light lunch and some drinks late afternoon after exploring all day. We were on the 5th floor and had private balcony on the backside of the hotel overlooking pool area. The balcony gets hot afternoon sun so really only sat out one evening, but very nice. Rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable beds, linens etc. My favorite thing about this hotel was the lobby which was very tasteful decorated. We had cocktails a few nights in the lounge area, did not order any food but for those that had food, the food looked amazing! Would definitely book again. Staff was incredibly helpful and willing and always able to call a taxi whenever needed.

Well located hotel, ideal base to visit Barcelona. Friendly service from the entry. But breakfast is unfortunately big setback. On holiday I am very much in favour of a hot breakfast, but there is no hot buffet available, only available à la carte. This should be an advantage because of à la minute prepared. But then you have to be able to order of course. The room staff doesn't have an eye for all customers so you must be lucky to be able to order something. Only managed to eat an egg once on 3 days. For me this is not recommended given the price range.

We are closing out a one week stay at the incredible H10 Metropolitan in Barcelona and cannot say enough good things about our experience. The location is superb, as the hotel is situated on La Rambla within a two minute walk of Playa Catalunya. The strongest point of the hotel is the amazing staff, and it is obvious to us that management has done a very good job of sourcing incredible people who are at the forefront of any hotels operations. It would be remiss of us not to mention some of the front of house staff, namely Rocio, Fabio (who was superb in providing directions to our daily destinations), Virginia, Andrea and Xavi. We would also like to thank the restaurant and wait staff of Antonella, Paloma, Adolpho, Mary Lou, Ekaterine, Corinne, Katherine and Yuliecca. If we have missed anyone we deeply apologies. The rooms are very adequate and the shower, unlike some we have experienced in the past, was very simple to operate and provided ample hot water. If we were ever to return to Barcelona we would have no hesitation whatsoever in booking a return visit to the H10 Metropolitan. BTW we enjoyed a Margarita pizza one evening which we strongly believe is arguably the best one we have ever tasted!!
