The hotel was ideal for transfers from the airport as both the 46 and the aerobus stopped virtually outside the door. We also enjoyed the Magic Fountain display wich was just around the corner. The Arenas (Bullring converted to shopping mall) was just across the Placa d'Espanya and had a good supermarket in the basement as well as a food...

We stayed here on a stag do in Feb. I think it is a relatively new hotel so the condition and cleanliness was of a good standard. Rooms were well thought out and well appointed. A very nice shower in our room. The hotel is close to Olympic park (which we walked up to and played football at) and very...

The hotel is just 15 minutes from the airport with the Aerobus - don't forget to request the stop! You can also catch bus 46 cheaper but not as frequent. The hotel is in a great location very close to metro station and within walking distance of 'El pueblo Espanol' one of Barcelona's main attractions. You can even walk to...

The location is very good, near metro station and 1 minute walk from where the Aerobus drops you. WIFI in room but the login password is anoying and reception is not always available, needed to go next to the door to get WIFI sometimes. We slept on the forth floor facing the main street so that's a nice view but...

Great location - clean and friendly. Only downside is limited bar facility and lack of lounge area. Rooms perfectly adequate. Could do with English speaking news channel on tv (when here on business)

The best thing about this hotel is the location - it is easily reachable from the airport with the Aerobus and it is very close to the metro station and all the main attractions. Also you can walk to La Rambla and it's some half an hour at slow pace from the hotel. There's no need for you to eat...

I booked this hotel via Expedia for 90€/night for double room. I rate the hotel with average rating for four star hotel, but with good price/location ratio. The transportation in Barcelona is very easy with metro, the metro station is around 300m from the hotel. It is 4 stations to the old town, however close to the hotel there are...

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
