I booked this hotel via Expedia for 90€/night for double room. I rate the hotel with average rating for four star hotel, but with good price/location ratio. The transportation in Barcelona is very easy with metro, the metro station is around 300m from the hotel. It is 4 stations to the old town, however close to the hotel there are...

4 day break to Barcelona - what a great city. We planned visit to see Chilli Peppers at Palau St Jordi Hotel was 10-15 drive from airport. Looked dreary & dull from outside but a quality hotel inside. Receptionists spoke good English and gave us valuable info to get around the city. Room was a bit tired but clean &...

It's a clean hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. It's conveniently located at 2oo m from Plaza Espanya and its metro and bus stations. It's also very convenient to reach by bus A1 or A2 from the airport if you arrive at Terminal 1 and 2 respectively. The bus station is at 100 m from the hotel. We didn't...

We thought the location of this hotel would not be so good for some reason before we arrived, but the location was actually great! It's close to the metro station, to the beautiful famous fountains where the Barcelona fountain show is held every night and the rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast was nice too, but we did not try the restaurant...

Stayed here in early October for one night pre-cruise, I wish we had longer. Really a great location - take the 5$ aerobus to the hotel, literally a 30 second walk from the stop to the hotel. Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
