This one of the MH Apartments is perfect location for Barcelona; 50mts from Liceo on La Ramblas, walking distance from the Gothic quarter. Quite neighbourhood, excellent for buying basic stuff from corner shops in the street as well as the next street is where 'Dia' supermarket is, right opposite Palace Guel. We stayed here for 11 days, reservation, as well...

I and 3 of my friends have rent a 5 persons apartment in April for a long week-end. It's very easy to reach by metro or taxi from the airport. We arrived quiet late the first day and just had to call the reception to fix an appointment 20 minutes later. The apartment has 2 bedrooms plus a couch for...

We stayed in these apartments in Barcelona. They were very close to La Rambla (maybe a two minute's walk) and also very close to the metro station. We found that this was a very convenient location for us as we explored the city. The apartments themselves were comfortably appointed, and definitely large enough for our party of 3. We had...

I travelled with my friends to visit Barcelona and we didn't want to stay in a hotel because we needed more privacy and wanted a place where we could cook and feel comfortably like at home. This place totally met our requirements! The prices were reasonable and the location was perfect as we were in the middle of everything, the...

So I booked this apartment, as a stop over before cruising out of Barcelona. We are 2 couples and thought sharing an apartment would be a good idea. We arrived early and rang thru. Apartment wasn't ready so we had to wait (fair enough), But after a quick clean we were into out room no.22 The quick clean was definately...

Three of us travelled here. 35 euros for a taxi to the door of 21 Uneo when we arrived at 10 pm. Because we arrived after 9pm we had to pay the man 20 euros when he let us in and showed us our rooms. When you arrive in Barcelona airport do remember to phone ahead and someone will meet...

Booking the apartment was easy, and we were met by a helpfull girl at the agreed time. The apartment was nice and clean, and with a good location for exploring Barcelona. Having a balcony in the midle om Barcelona where we could enjoy long quite breakfasts was a big plus for us. I'll recommend your flats to other people I...

Booking was handled very efficiently. The very pleasant host met me at the door to hand over the key and show me around. All I'd had to do was telephone when I arrived in the centre of the city, and arrange to meet in 20 minutes. The facilities were good: TV, security safe, fully equipped kitchen (not that I used it),...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
