The hostel was alright, my problem was only that they don't have plugs around the bed, which is almost the most important thing if you're with few strangers in a same room, you never know, right? And the shower that you have to push for ages to get hot water, I got it it's wheelchair access, but there is nothing...

Solid bathrooms, breakfast, and wifi. I checked in at 4AM (because of travel issues) and they were open and very kind and welcoming. Also the hostel is very central to Barcelona and close to a metro stop. Would absolutely recommend this hostel for anyone staying!

The hostel is very good, all the instalations are good and clean, the staff is kind and attentive and the location is perfect. I just have some negative points that could be improved: the wifi doesn't work in the rooms, the breakfast is a little expensive for what is offered, and the bathrooms have pressure showers and the light works...

It was Okay and the service wasn't bad, but there was some insects on the shower and it wasn't really cleaned, so We weren't really happy of finding those kind of things there. Otherwise, the servise were okay and the cafeteria was good.

The man at reception assigned me and another man the same bed. The man comes in the middle of the night screaming at my and grabs me, shaking me, and sits on my bed. He then went down to reception to tell them I was in his bed, that was mine. Reception comes into the room unannounced with a flashlight...

I spent nights at the Equity Point Centric Hostel in Barcelona and had a great time. Firstly the price of the stay was relatively cheap and it is in a great location! With excellent transport links to places in Barcelona as well as the airport, The staff are also super friendly and helpful.

Room was a little cramped (14 bed dorm) however for the price the room was excellent value for money, room and showering facilities were clean, staff helpful and friendly etc. Location was amazing, within walking distance of most major attractions and only a 5/10 minute walk from airport bus stop. Very good for younger travellers and those on a budget.

Ne and my girlfriend stayed here for 5 nights and it was a perfect, cheap, clean hostel. All you need was there, f.e. a free to use kitchen with all you need to prepare your own meal. Also there is a breakfast offer for just 2€.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

“The rooms were basic with one en-suite built into the room (perhaps a larger communal shared bathroom on each floor would be more convenient and prevent guests having to wait for someone to finish?)”

“I stayed in a 14-bed room. It was quite ok, facing to the street with 2 glass doors. With balcony but doors were locked so it is not possible to go out but view from the room was nice. Room was not as squeezy as I have imagined. Lockers available in the room, will need to use own padlock. Each bed has own outlet which is a plus. No door for shower, is only a water-proof kind curtain to cover up- Hot water fucntioning well.”
