Ally's guest house was the perfect stay for my week in Barcelona by myself. It doesn't have a storefront, but there is sign. Finding it was easy, but getting in was less easy. I rang the doorbell and someone answered but I didn't speak Spanish so that was difficult. I called on my cell phone (international rates) and managed to...

My son and I stayed here for 3 days. We arrived early and we were happy to be able to get into our room. I paid for a double with balcony and private bath so we were on the main street but we did not find it too noisy. The guesthouse advertises toiletries but only provide shower gel. I was...

Hotel is perfectly situated, only 15min from Sagrada Familia. We came late in night, but personell had no problem with that. Room was very cozy, every day cleaned up, breakfast contained everything (ham,cheese,eggs,croassaints,...), muffins and coffee available to get also in afternoon. PC and printer in hall. Nice small balconies. Nothing to complain about.

I was prepared for the worst and we were pleasantly surprised. Checked in late around 10 pm. Good thing we booked the transfer service through Ally's. The driver was very nice, he made sure that we are in house before he left. Check in was painless. We got the room in the same floor as the office and breakfast room....

Ally's is in a great location in the centre of Barcelona and provides a good base for exploring the city. The guesthouse is sweet, has plenty of personality and is lovely and clean. We paid less than £30 for a decent double room on the 5th floor and that included a delicious breakfast, so it was excellent value for money....

Ally herself is very sweet, which made up a bit for the rest of it. The room we had was on the fifth floor, accessed via a quaint and tiny old lift. Cons: - The locks take some getting used to, but it was all very secure. - Bathrooms need a bit of attention (shower doors missing and broken, for...

I arrived at about 15:00 to check in. They speak Spanish and some English. They were not happy that I was checking in before the others arrived (my sister and her 20 month old daughter) I explained their flight landed at 18:30. The older lady was quite nice but the middle aged one was rude. She got visibly and verbally...

I will give 4 star for Alejandra who was very accommodating and kind in assisting us. I'll give a 5 star for the location which is near to many points of interest for travelers and tourist. However only 3 star for the accommodation. Our room was okay, but the toilet generates a certain smell that probably came from the sewerage...

My 1st solo trip ever was to Barcelona and I couldn't begin to explain how much anxiety I had once I hopped of the train station from the airport and arrived in Ramblas. It was my fault that I didn't book a hotel earlier and once I started to do my research once I arrived it became overwhelming and pricey....

Ally's Guest House was a great place to stay! Really well located, only 10 min walking distance from the famous streat La Rambla and 5 min away the Sagrada Familia. Rooms are really spacious and bright. Breakfast is generous and you have the chance to meet other travellers coming to enjoy this incredible city. Highly recommended!

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
