if I hadn't read a previous review explaining the location of the hotel, I think we would have struggled to find it (ie ringing the doorbell for hotel on 2nd floor within a block) great central location easily accessible by train if you're looking for cheap and cheerful we had a room that opened out directly onto the breakfast area,...

This is a very pleasant hotel. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived too early to get our room but we checked in and the staff took our cases to allow us to start exploring the city with no delay. The nearest metro station is about 25 metres from the hotel entrance so you can easily get...

Lovely hotel, really close to some great restaurants. We had a lovely welcome and the staff are really helpful. You can walk to las ramblas or the port easily. Lovely hotel room. Shame the bar on the top floor wasn't open, but I am sure it will be in the summer. Breakfast was really really nice, sparkling wine included always...

Good location. Cheap, clean hotel. I went with a group of lads to watch the football. So for our needs it was excellent. The only problem is that the walls are very thin. Better than staying in las rambles. Good for a drunken weekend away. Probably not that great for a romantic or family holiday.

Modern nice Hotel with amazing services, staff very helpful, room was very comfortable and practical. Breakfast was really very good compared to what we had after in Paris shameful. Will personally come back and will recommend it to everyone.

Perfect hotel for mother and two adult daughters. Accommodation was two large singles and one double bed in very large room plus bathroom with two basins, bath with overhead shower and also separate walk in shower. Very comfortable. Lovely sunny roof terrace plus pool. A brilliant weekend

This second floor hotel, confusing at best has the best location for travelers bar none! Metro stop within a block with train access. Shopping for anything. Food steps away, grocery on the block, farms is across the street! Padrera is two blocks away and mi casa one. Sparse is a word but so is no-frills to describe the accommodations. No...

We booked this hotel as we were looking for cheap but central accomodation for our girls weekend away. Hotel very central and about 15 min walk from Las Ramblas. Room was VERY small and basic. I got the feeling this place was/still has hostel status as facilities basic and the room badly in need of upgrading. Walls were dirty/marked, towels...

Basic, relatively comfortable, central, good value and very handy for the Paseo de Gracia train station. The reception is open 24 hrs and clients can come and go without problem. If you are happy with a basic, cheap central location, this is quite a good option.

Great location, nice Staff but the room we got was small. It seemed like a storage room converted into a bedroom. Front door just outside dining room. Room number 104 it's a no. Everything else fine. We had amazing time in Barcelona. Hotel very central.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
