The hotel is located at a great location. It's easy to walk to the metro station, and also to several restaurants nearby. Las Ramblas and the Boqueria mercado are also very close. The staff at the front was very informative and gave us directions and a map which helped us to get around town very easily. Having said that, we...

Terrible service, dirty bathrooms, poor rooms, no WiFi signal. During our 3 day stay we had several problems, looked for help from the front desk but nobody resolved our problems. The management is incompetent and unkind. Rooms are average so you will certainly find a much better option for the price range.

Hotel is in the perfect location, room was clean and comfortable with very little storage. Room had a safe but as the last guest took the key with him we had to leave our belongings at reception. Bathroom had a lovely shower and a hairdryer. Room has a fridge but no kettle. Breakfast wasdisappointing with what appeared to be boiled...

In truth this is not a 4* hotel. Having said that it is still a great place to be. Room was clean and good size. Breakfast was fine. Staff couldn't be more helpful and informative. The building is really nice and the public areas are very nice. Very close to waterfront, la rambla about 100m. Set in the Gothic area....

A comfortable and well sited hotel near the old city of Barcelona. The room was good, altough a little warm, but a fine starting and endpoint for walks in the city. Both in daytime and nightime. Easy to find and near to the attractiones we wanted to see.

Beautiful historic building close to the waterfront in the old quarter of Barcelona, converted into a 60 bedroom hotel with mid sized bedrooms with en suite shower rooms. Clean, all necessities catered for. Restaurant on lower floor provides only a breakfast buffet which does not vary from day to day, and would not please those relying on all English/American style...

I booked this hotel for the location and was not disappointed, within easy walking distance of the Ramblas, Barri Gothic, Metro and hop on-off bus.Lots of bars, restaurants, coffee shops around. The port is walkable, just a bit further away. The hotel was very clean and the room spacious with a lovely big bathroom.Yes it can be noisy on occasion,...

A lovely hotel designed to fit into an old palace, although that sounds quite spectacular it's not without its problems. In our group of six our friends had rooms overlooking the square overlooking the square in front of the hotel whilst we had a room whose only windows opened into the back staircase, I appreciate we can't all have spectacular...

Visited the hotel Feb 2017 for 5 nights with friends. The location, in the gothic quarter of Barcelona, is perfect for exploring the sights and convenient for Las Ramblas, the marina and many restaurants. The decor and building is excellent reflecting its history well. Unfortunately I would find it hard to fully recommend the hotel as it is VERY noisy...

We spent 3 nights here in January for a short city break. Although not the highest rated hotel on offer (perhaps because of older reviews), we chose it mainly for its superb location but were very pleasantly surprised and pleased by the hotel itself, which is very well appointed, modern and stylish inside, with an impressive classic facade to the...
