The hotel is clean and good location being a 10 minute walk to La Ramblas and 5 minutes from the nearest metro station and where the bus drops you off if you're coming from the airport (Universitat). After being in the heat in Barcelona we maybe would have preferred to stay somewhere with a pool, they have a decking area/terrace...

Stayed for the barcelona grand prix. Room was no bigger than a box - room 412. Was very very expensive for the size of the room. Expected much much more from the pictures. Price didnt even include breakfast!! Air conditioning didnt work so was pretty warm! But staff were friendly and hotel was very clean. Also very central for getting...

I can’t say it was bad experience , the hotel was clean , the receptionists were super nice and helpful , they were very pleasant all the time . but the rooms are outdated ,however they are spacious , you will feel like you are in college dorms, also walls are thin and you can hear everything happening outside ....

I stayed in this hotel for business for MWC. I booked it a few months in advance, and was in regular contact with the hotel to try an ensure the stay was comfortable. I requested an outside window, either front or back, as I get ill with air conditioning. After this guarantee, on arrival, I got what can only be...

Stayed at this hotel while in town for the Mobile World Congress March 2017. This is a very basic hotel. Rooms are clean but very small with minimal amenities. The main reason for the low 1 star rating was for the RIDICULOUS price charged for the room. I paid 400 euro per night. I understand that demand was high due...

Firstly this is for those on a budget. We wanted somewhere with easy access to and from the airport with close proximity to city center and local attractions. It is what we got. My girlfriend and I stayed 3 nights second week in Febuary in room 506 5th floor, very spacious and clean throughout. As soon as walked in, the...

This hotel is a decent enough 3 star... Pros: - A 5-7 minute walk from La Rambla. - Plenty of restaurants/shops within walking distance. - A small 24 shop is located directly opposite the hotel, about ten steps away - very handy... serves both food and alcohol. -Although small, bathroom was clean and shower worked fine. - The male at...

I can't understand how anyone rates this higher than very bad. Trains run under the hotel shaking it, we were in room 101 and Orwell himself would have been proud and seen the irony. Room 101 faces the front of the hotel, you can hear every car, lorry, van, bus, bike as if it were in the room. Glazing is...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
