This complex is in an amazing location. The apartments are extremely modern clean and stylish. We did however have in issue with the fact that there was never anyone on staff when we were there. We took the Airport bus to Plaza Cataluna and walked to the location. This part of Barcelona is not a super easy place to navigate...

We took a taxi from the airport but got the bus back which was much cheaper. We found the location perfect and enjoyed the tapas, bars and cafes in this area. The studio was clean and had all the equipment we needed. It would have been perfect for two but we had our teenage daughter with us and space was...

I quite enjoyed my stay at the apartments, it was a nice, clean place to relax after spending 8 days in various hostels in Madrid. It had a working a/c which was nice and a nice location. Super close to the Picasso Museum and little shops. I wouldn't call it a 'rough' area, most of Barcelona was pretty rough so...

We are group of 6 people just come back from Barcelona. The position is great, you are in the Born district near Carrer de la Princesa at 5 minutes from Picasso Museum, from Ciutadella Park and from Metro (Jaume I, L4), 15 minutes from Port Vell and from Rambla. The zone was quite animated and noisy, sure not for elderly...

We stayed at the apartment allada for 4 nights and were more than impressed. Yes it is somewhat noisy but it is extremely central. You always tend to have to make a trade off. On our 1st trip to Barcelona we stayed in a very nice quiet 4 star hotel but it was too far from the centre of the...

My mum and her 3 friends went to Barcelona to celebrate a 65th birthday, it was a treat for their friend. They were there for two hours, left the apartment and literally got ten steps away when they were mugged by 6 men. This was in broad daylight, outside shops and the shop keepers literally laughed at them. They are...

What's more we were in the very citycenter of Barcelona,on a very nice typical little place, a very goog location to discover the old town !!

Remeber that 1996 film with Jerry O´Connell?? Yeah the one about the cockroaches....this was our apartment at Allada. The location couldn´t have been better, a trendy neighbourhood, an entertaining 5 minute walk to the underground through medieval streets, several museums, great restaurants, colourful shops - perfection! The decor was very chic, a quaint little modern apartment - excellent to spent...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
