Very good hotel in a very strategic position, near metro station monumental and so close to Sagrada Familia. The entire staff was very kind, our room was large and clean. I suggest to stay at Monumental during your stay in Barcelona

I have just come back from staying in this hotel. Overall my stay was comfortable. I did think the room we were in was a touch on the small side and wish inside the shower was a shelf, so not having to bend down to pick up my toiletries all the time, but the room was perfect and hotel is...

Stayed at Eurostars Monumental with my husband for 3 nights (3-6 April). This is a small but very pleasant 4 star hotel. The young Spanish lady on reception who checked us into the hotel was very friendly and helpful particularly when she realised we were from Belfast where she had lived for a while. The bedroom and bathroom were pleasant...

Overall this hotel is oaky, the location is pretty good and the staff are friendly and helpful however, it is definitely not a four star. The rooms are very clean and tidy, the decor is quite good and there is ample wardrobe/drawer space for a short break such as our four day one. The facilities are just not there though...

Stayed here Saturday to Monday, no complaints. Right beside a subway station so very easy to get around the city. Lots of nice bars and restaurants 5 minute walk away. Room clean and comfortable. Any staff we had dealings with were very helpful. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Overall enjoyable stay.

I know 4 stars in Europe is not as comfortable as in other places. Anyway, this was a disappointment. It's close to main road. On one hand it is convenient, on the other it is noisy esp when they don't have double panes windows. You can also hear your upstairs "neighbor" rather clearly. I didn't sleep too well the 3...

Hotel is really good located near metro station. Sagrada di Familia is close by. Hotel has super comfortable beds. Be careful with curtains because you can sleep over they working that fine ;) Stuff was helpful. I was leaving in early morning and breakfast package was ready. Breakfast in hotel was really tasty. It was the best hotel experience so...

This hotel was absolutely amazing, the pictures that are published don't do the hotel justice. My friend & I went on a cheeky holiday and we had the best time. I've recommended this hotel to EVERYONE going to Barca. The breakfast was good for the price and was reasonably filling. The best thing was definitely the location; a 5/10 min...

This hotel is great for a base - rooms aren't huge but we spent minimal time in there anyway. Everything clean and staff were very helpful. Didn't opt for breakfast so can't comment but location was good, just 2 metro stops from very centre of Barcelona and a minute walk from Sagrada Familia. The 'view' itself of Sagrada Familia wasn't...

We spend 3 days in this hotel for vacation and celebration new year 2017. This hotel is in a great location near Sagrada familia. Hotel room is big, clean and very lovely. There is no balcony only windows. We only had breakfast which was very good. Only coffe machine is very complex. We missed more space in the lobby of...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
