The Casa Camper is unlike any hotel we have ever stayed in - not just because it is on the quirky side with unusual features such as another useful room directly across the passage from the bedroom, a hammock, an open wardrobe/storage system, a 24 hour snack bar stocked with light meals, drinks and refreshments included in the room rate... My stay at Hotel Casa Camper was one of the best experiences I ever had. Not only are the rooms comfortable and well furnished, the service of ALL the staff has consistently been very friendly, helpful and with a big smile ...

We chose this hotel due to the reviews and we were very happy. The unconventional setup of the rooms has been described in previous reviews and it really works. The size of the bedroom, bathroom and mini lounge was very generous. The separation of the room from the lounge works great. It allowed my wife to get a good nights... More

Our greeting was exceptional. The young lady that introduced us to the hotel was my first impression of Barcelona. She was so friendly and so informative I was truly surprised. You can't train staff in customer service that is second nature. If the room wasn't great I already decided that Casa Camper deserved a good review for the staff. The... More

Casa Camper has the friendliest staff of anywhere we have stayed. It was very comfortable and in a great location. The accommodations seemed Minimalist at first glance. But they had everything we needed and had thought of everything. You will not be disappointed.

This hotel is not like any I've seen before. Firstly you have two rooms one for sleeping and bathing then across the hall (you can get between rooms with your key or by pressing a button to open the adjacent door) is your recreation room comp, eye with TV, hammock, sofa, balcony where you can view the goings on in the... The rooms were great, the location was fantastic as we could walk everywhere. There's a cool sitting area with complimentary food and drinks 24 hours. We drink a ton of water so this really saved a lot of money. Perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the service. Every person was like a private concierge. Unbelievably helpful and friendly.... We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon & had an amazing time. The room was very quiet & super dark thanks to the blinds. After he madness leading up to the wedding, we were really glad of some peace & quiet. The location of this hotel is great with many bars, cafes & other local attractions... More

The location, just off La Rambla between Plaza Catalunya and the Boqueria, makes most tourist spots a walk (if you like to walk). The rooms are very large by European standards, and completely quiet. Comfortable beds; personal sitting room with couch, TV and hammock across from each bedroom (you have to be there). Wonderful breakfast and snack area. But most... More

Belongs to the CAMPER comfy shoe brand, it aims to attract the upbeat young crowd. The place is in a cute street just off La Ramblas , which is probably the only location to be as a tourist. They have a sort of kitchenette in the lobby which u can grab healthy free snacks 24/7, and every room comes with... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
