i stayed here for almost a week while working in barcelona. the hotel is a bit far away from the city - 40 minute walk to rambla or 10 minute and 10 euro in taxi. but as we often drove out of the city for locations it was ok not to deal with the barcelona traffic and it was very...

Exceptionally disappointed by the booking direct to the hotel, along with a follow up email direct to the hotel reservation desk to confirm, to arrive at the hotel and go through the full check in process (copy of passport & credit card taken) to then be told the hotel is full and i had to move to their sister hotel!...

We've never been to Spain and only traveled overseas for work or to all inclusive resorts. So, heading to Europe starting from square one doing all the leg-work ourselves was a little intimidating. We checked out dozens of hotels and this one was one of top after narrowing down the price, needing a pool, fitness center, good location and decent...

We stayed at AC for 4 days and loved almost everything about it!! It's very close to being five star standard. Beautiful and very comfortable 22-storey hotel, with breathtaking views from the rooms. Very modern, stylish and airy. Away from the centre, so not a noisy area at all. La Rambla is a taxi ride away (around €12) - not...

Hotel rooms are very clean, modern design. It was great that the mini bar was included in the price. The view from the room to the sea was very beaufiful. the receptionists were very helpful and nice. Having free wifi internet in the rooms would be apropriate for the room rates.

The hotel is located within easy reach of city centre and beach. There is a bus turistic stop just outside (we had two day ticket to get around) and plenty of taxis outside also if required and other local buses. Taxi to airport averages 30 euros and only takes about 20 minutes. The hotel room was perfect (city view) with...

Pros: Quiet street so no street noise. Shopping mall and Natural History Museum across street. Walking distance to sea, but not at all scenic. Two blocks to metro. Safe neighborhood. Taxis always available out front. Rooms are not huge, but not teeny-tiny like many European hotels. Mostly friendly staff. New, clean rooms and facility. Breakfast is not fantastic, but perfectly...

Air con not working. Room clean and nice. Good sea view. Pillows too hot foam. Breakfast- all hot food cold and disgusting. Even when we complained, next lot also cold. We go to Barcelona 3-4 times a year but won't stay here again. 20 euros too much for bad breakfast.

Like many hotel chains, AC maintains a good standard in their hotels, which unfortunately also means that individuality is limited, especially when it comes to the rooms. For the AC Barcelona (Forum), the architecture at least is quite interesting as the hotel was build as part of the massive development for the Olympics. It is therefore close to the (new)...
