Hello! I've stayed in H10 Universitat this August (03-07 August). I spent four days in Barcelona with my wife. After checking tripadvisor's reviews about several hotels located in the heart of Barcelona, I've decided for this one. It proved to be a great choice. As soon as we arrived, we were received with a glass of cava. We decided to...

Its really handy location the bus from the airport stops at Universitat metro stop which is only a few mins walk from hotel. Its only a few mins walk from Las Ramblas which is handy as there are loads of restaurants around there. We chose the double basic room it was smaller than a standard room but we were happy...

This is far from my favourite hotel, and really has no hope of ever even making it into the top ten. My biggest complaints are with the rooms. I don't know if this applies to every room in the hotel, but the frosted glass bathroom doors that don't full close: a nightmare for me. This is stylistic decorating that I...

Having just got back from staying here, I have to say that this hotel is really good. We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel on the forth floor (407). The air con in the room is silent, which is a bonus, the bed was massive and really comfy. The rooms have a safe located within the...

We were transferred to this hotel after our travel agent messed up our booking (!) so it wasn't our first choice - but, boy, did we fall on our feet! Our first impression was a cool, clean, modern lobby with friendly staff who spoke excellent English. Our room didn't disappoint, it was modern and very clean, with a fresh, light...

This is a nice, basic hotel - nothing special except the breakfasts, which are fantastic; and the rooftop terrace. Otherwise basic but clean and friendly enough. The location is good, by las ramblas (and where the tour buses leave from, plus you can get a bus to / from there from the airport). If you get a good deal on...

The hotel was chosen as a result of my travelling fellows had already booked there. When we arrive there is problem with the air conditioning in one or more floors and my traveling companions got a room at another hotel nearby. The hotel can not be blamed for that. But when I as a single traveler saw the room I...

We stayed two nights in this hotel along with another couple of friends. The location is perfect for walking the "Ramblas" and for taking the open top hop on hop off bus. There are a multitude of excellent and inexpensive "tapas" restaurants nearby. The hotel is modern in style and the staff go out of their way to be helpful,...

is a nice hotel, don't have super big expectations, modern but could require some renovation... rooms are quite small so if you're having big -and more than 2- suitcases you probably won't have enough space to walk in and out of the room. Breakfast is extra (a bit expensive) but definetely worth it, enough food -buffet- if considering that spaniards...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
