Small, practical and great location is a summary for this place. There are few little things to object but staff and service do make it easier to forget them. Only thing that cannot be fixed is a "Scent of Barcelona " that can be smelled all over the city center.. point is that anyone would be crazy to stay in the...

I booked this hotel as a package deal through easy jet and wasn't disappointed! The hotel is situated just off the lively Las Ramblas, which has plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. The indoor market a couple of minutes walk away is a must. They sell the most amazing fruit smoothies for €1! If you are considering...

The room was very small and odd shaped. Bathroom smelled of sewage and had leakage or something not really great. I complained and the lady at reception was not helpful, courteous nor hospitable.. She denied to change my room & was not ready to offer a better room. The room was like a railway compartment with no air circulation- no...

Great location, right off of Las Ramblas. The hotel staff was really fantastic. Every single one of the front desk staff were friendly, and helpful; asking me how my day was and storing my beer for me (no refrigerator in my room). My room was bare bones (the small bed took up about 60% of the floor space, but it...

The hotel is a few steps from the Ramblas and is very central. The staff was amazing, took after everyrhing we needed and always with a smile and good will. During the whole stay we always felt like we were at home which is not to be taken for granted at all. It doesnt include meals, so if you are...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great hotel. Very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has seating inside and a nice outside court yard area where you can also sit and house keeping every day. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from La Ramblas. Which is the main strip. Lots of restaurants to choose from and...

Just returned from our stay for 3 nights and was great! Arrived for my friends birthday and in the room we had champagne, petals and balloons. Such a lovely touch! Great location and maintained to a high standard which really was the perfect base for our holiday. Also who can fault the location!

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
