Stayed in 10 bed dorm. Security is excellent with key card lockers. Location is 5 min from las Ramblas. Staff are helpful and friendly and speak English :-) shower in our room was broken but it had hot water. Shared showers were good.

My friend and me stayed in the be mar hostel for 1 week. Location is great, but first of all they don´t announce the 7,5% tax for hostels in Barcelona, so prepare to pay more than they promise online!
