Great location in the Gothic Quarter! Close to Cathedral of Barcelona and many great places to eat and shop and get lost in the quaint streets. Strange bedroom setup but overall a good experience. Nothing particularly impressive except for location.

It was Nice, Even though i havn't been to hostels before.. for a Hostel, i guess this was a Nice place :) it was centered and very easy to Get around from There. The breakfast was boring, but at least There was something. And the bed was too small and the door to the balcony was locked.. but overall we...

My boyfriend and I stayed for one week. Great location, walking distance to everything, warm showers, good bed, room a bit smelly but only because of other guests, fast Wi-Fi. Our only problem was, we had booked an extra night because of a mix up with our flight we had gotten our dates wrong and booked 7 nights instead of...

the hostel was really good, the location is perfect but there's way too much air conditioning and during the night it was a bit cold. Breakfast is not very good, but for 2 euros you can not ask for more.

Very easy hostel, ticks all boxes. Comfortable and close to Gothic center of Barca. Could improve with free wifi and more attention to keeping bathrooms clean, but that is more to do with lazy guests at night.

We didn't like the place so we mooved to another place as quickly as we could. There is no kitchen to cook in and the showers are not at all comfortable. Its like a mission to take one. The people in reception were nice though.. Breakfast was not worth the 2 euro - lacked good coffee and basic things like...

Awesome location, cool staff that spoke english, clean, affordable, perfect for my weekend trip. Got a card as a key and felt secure in my room which I shared with 13 other people. Met some awesome people too. Would definitely recommend!

This hostel is very noisy but clean. The people are really welcoming but this place is full of noisy people partying. If you want to visit early in the morning, you have to know that you didn't rest well at night because from the dorm you hear the noise of the people in the street. The breakfast is cheap but...

You can't beat the location of this hostel. Show up late, put your stuff away, walk out the door and you're close to everything, at least I thought so. Short walks to plenty of great stuff. No need to take the subway or a taxi or long walks. Just the location enough is to merit 5 stars, but other issues...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
