We stayed here two nights in August. The staff were helpful and informative suggesting ways of getting around the city. Wonderful views of Barceloma from the roof terrace. Great self service breakfast. Lovely apples in reception and a welcoming drink too.

Just returned from a 5 day stay at the H10 montcada barcelona. Hotel and staff were fantastic, breakfast was epic, and the choice and selection will leave even the fussiest palet with something they'll enjoy. We did have an issue (sort of) regarding the shower, where the tap and shower unit would run at the same time, and with all...

I visited this hotel last year for a 'special' birthday and was not disappointed : for us the location was great as just tucked away from les ramblas, which can be very busy and noisy and yet near all the important tourist sites. The rooms although small were very smart and modern and the ensuite was as big as the...

Very nice hotel situated close to the harbour. Metro and bus stops nearby. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of choice. Roof terrace has hantastic views of the city. Hot tub on the roof is a nice touch. Rooms spotless and well maintained. Can be noisy if you don't keep the windows closed. And yes you can feel the vibration of the metro...

Really enjoyed my trip to Barcelona last month (21st-24th), a perfect length of trip which allowed us to visit the entire city using the tour bus. The hotel were exceptional for service, organising the bus tickets, regular cleaning and tidying of rooms, daily changing of the beds and organising the taxi on the last day to take us back to...

Stayed here recently for my partners 50th Birthday. The location if this hotel is excellent. We upgraded our room in advance to the 8th floor with a view of the city. Although a bit small it was clean, and catered for all our needs. After a busy day walking around we returned to a bottle of cava, 2 glasses and...

Staff are great, rooms are clean and smart although on the small side, breakfast is excellent and the roof top terrace is superb. This hotel is central to the harbour, beach, las rambles, gothic quarter, metro and aerobus. Try to get rooms on the upper floors as there can be some vibration noise from near by metro station on lower levels. Anyone who uses this hotel...

We would stay again due to central location in Gothic quarter and metro station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were smaller than expected but clean. Would not order room service meals were quite poor. Overall good value for location.

This is a lovely hotel right in the middle of the Gothic area. Hotel was very clean with separate bathroom and plenty of room for your clothes in the wardrobes with a free to use safe. Didn't like the fact the beds were more like twins than a double bed. The hotel has a metro station outside plus only about...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
